The sti rear knuckles 08 up bolt on totally different...( different suspension arms) but have bolt in wheel bearings. Which is what i need so i could modify to hold the 350z hub/bearing unit. But its just gonna be better to buy the drive shaft shop axles rated for 1200 hp and call it a day...

But the engine is in the car now, fuel cell had to be notched like 2" on one corner for sway bar clearance but the fuel cell is all welded up and waiting for a few things to come in to finish hooking the fuel cell up to the factory fuel filler neck. So I can fill it up like a normal car.

Going to pull the rear cradle tomorrow and weld a couple of more supports on it and media blast it and get some paint on it this week.

No. The rear knuckles bolt on the same as wrx ones. I've done swap myself, the axle splines are different between r160 and r180. You would see if you had a set. Doesnt matter now since your using custom axles.

What year rear Knuckles are you running?

05 thru 07 are not bolt on wheel bearings which is what I need so i can modify... Those sti Knuckles will bolt on.
08-10 sti have bolt on wheel bearings which is what i was looking for, but do not bolt onto my wrx, knuckle bolts on totally different.

05-07 sti rear wheel bearing ID is 1mm smaller than the OD of my 350z hub... So it will require less than 1mm to be turned down off of the 350z hub. press it in, run the 05-07 sti rear knuckle, calipers, ebrakes and rotor. The 350z is the same lug pattern as the 05-07 sti, so I can just swap the front knuckles and everything will be matching lug pattern... Also have upgraded brakes , which i wanted to do brembos anywyays.

So having the 350z hub, just will require me to buy 1 more short side 350z axle. Bolt them in and go.

I wish the sti rear was 29 spline like the 350z but they are 27spline. Be nice to just have 350z axle bolt into the sti rear knuckle.

Got some more parts ordered Monday...$600 dollar order... Stainless brake hard line, brake fittings and some bulkheads. Also a new wilwood 7/8" clutch master cylinder and a few more An fittings.... When buying AN fittings it adds up fast.
But took care of a few small things this week on the car....
Finished all the fuel cell mods. ( Connected to the factory fuel door)
Built and installed a transmission tunnel boot to seal up the hole where the shifter comes into the cabin. Built a new shifter to my likings. Also did some trimming on the front bumper.
