I dropped the block at local machine shop were they will deck the faces.
They had a better straight edge tool that showed less gaps, my ruler was very bad test example.

I'm going to have crank polished and just trow everything back together. Might get new ring set will see.

So other than decking is the local machine shop going polish the crank and put the motor back together??

If yes why not send it to Dan or MPS?

I actually ran Evans waterless coolant that was proven not to rust any internals.

As far as engine i will be assembling it, every time i have to pay for it anyways mind as well learn to do it my self.

Got almost everything ready, block was cleaned and surfaced, heads were cleaned inspected and also surfaced, crank got polished.

Replacing all bearings, piston rings and piston pins.

Will start assembling after finals.

I am staying with 7670 turbo, installing Flex fuel sensor and probably will be upgrading from ID1000 to ID1300 injectors.

got my flex fuel sensor working, showing 9% with pump gas
need to pick up some e85 and start tuning it.

Going to make boost map per Ethonol %, so with **** gas ill run 20 psi with 60% and up 25 psi +

This sounds awesome! What are you currently using in terms of software for flex fuel tuning? I'm setting up a 15 STi tonight for flex! Using RaceRom for it.

Are you going to use an overlay fuel and ignition map? ethanol % vs ethanol temp

right now made 4d overlay fuel map Ethanol % vs MAP, added e85 made 50% mix.

Right now 4d map is straight line starts from 10% - 0 units to 50% - 25 units

Domenic is going to send me map of how he tunes e85 and vipec, so far i enjoy stink free exhaust

as of now at 20 psi I'm at 75% duty.
So I hope getting ID1300's and bumping base pressure to 50 will give me good head room with walbro e85 pump?
