I would say 360-380whp on pump. Drop about 12% if your going to be tuned on a Mustang.

I've done 355 on pump gas with a fairly conservative tune on a mustang dyno,
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1542772 they are a really nice street turbo for our cars, its right there with the HTA Green IMHO, both spool almost identical, and have the great power uptop. If you are thinking about a SR56, I would recommend taking a look at an HTA Green as well |

bigger turbos really need good gas or meth to shine. you should strongly consider a e85 or meth setup.

We do quite a few APS setups as we are a dealer. I've seen that setup make 375-400whp on our dyno (dynapak). Let us know if you need any other info.

Couple of notes on the SR56 vs HTA Green
- SR56 is ball bearing = more costly to repair - APS SR56 is $2100 vs $1500 for an HTA Green - Customer service - APS is in Australia, FP is in Texas seems like a no brainer to me.....take the $600 you save on the turbo and buy some pistons and a meth kit. |

If you want an SR56, I would go with a Blouch Dom 3, they are very similar and based on my experience with both I think you get better results. My friend had one with a very similar set up to mine, the only difference was his car was an 05 STI, mine was an 06 WRX and my car out performed his.

the dom3 is smaller (52 lb/min) than both the SR56 and HTA Green, both 56 lb/min.
the dom4 (58 lb/min) would be a better comparison.... |

Depends on what is meant. if it was a drag race, the WRX has taller gearing and should have the egde. Plus if the Dominator is more aggressively tuned than the SR56. A 20G will beat an FP Green if the FP green is tuned on pump and the 20G is on Meth. There are just to many variables.

We need: - mod list of both cars - gas - boost, timing, fuel - what does outperformed mean? higher dyno numbers? higher trap speed? faster ET? - same dyno? - which gears were the cars dyno'd in? A WRX with less power will beat an STi with ~40-50whp more more often than not. The STi has weight and shifting disadvantages. |

I would have to scan my old dyno sheet, but it wasn't a great deal. I dyno'd at 338 WHP and he got 315 WHP. Now that I think about it, I had a 3 inch intake and TGV Deletes and he had a 2.5 intake and no TGV Deletes, he also didn't have an upgraded Turbo Inlet pipe so that would have made the difference. Nevermind, now that I confused everyone!

I can vouch for GRD. They tuned my APS SR55 on 93 and I put down 380 WHP on their Dynapak with 19PSI of boost.
