Any Bugeye owners ever install the OEM STi ALK? Have some already in the brace, not sure if worth the bother installing or not.

not always the case. I bought one off of e-bay, had it on for about 5 months. was carbon fiber, 4" tall.....I eventually decided to go a different route and got an sti hoodscoop, again off of e-bay, and that one too fit with no problems at all. maybe I just got lucky with buying 2 scoops from 2 different companies? idk....

I will say this: not all ebay parts are created equal.

Replica Prodrive lips - fit everytime
Replical spats/strakes - hit and miss

I agree. I bought an oem 3 piece rear lip from a member here and turns out the middle diffuser was not oem and didn't fit. I gave that replica garbage away and I'm still looking for a middle diffuser to match up the sides of my rear.

Yeah I guess I'm being retentive, I really didn't mind spending all that time filling and block sanding the feebay scoop I bought. What made the purchase even better was doing a run down I-20 between Ft Gordon and ATL and the scoop developed a few hairline cracks. Glad I was patient and found a JDM STI scoop posted up here, $100.00 shipped.

as in the OEM hose is fine and not something you can to see so why waste money on needless bling. I do like the idea of replacing the turbo inlet tube with something better though. With age the OEM tends to rip where it attaches to the turbo.

I don't think you guys understand. I believe I'm missing the OEM elbow. I have a hose that is capped off, and it doesn't reach the bov so I feel as though I'm missing a piece...an elbow or something. The previous owner did an HKS Bov vta and I need the stock pieces.

Are you saying u need the rubber hose that connects to bov, or that metal elbow that that connects the bov to the rubber hose?
