stop postin those ssr pics,, we as the whole board think those rims r just too damn fly.. we or most of the board r envious of their good looks as we would love to have them on our own scoobies....... we or most members think the only reason we do not have them on our cars already is that they r quite expensive............. grrrrrrrrrrrrr with that being said, i might sell my gold superleggas and get this same setup for my black scooby ,, hahhhahaahahah

perfection! your car looks nice and clean...
i have a question re: the H&Rs... how do you like them, how do they compare to the stock ride, and are you happy with the amount they lower the car?
thanks

I can post the full-res pics if you'd like

Takashi:
The springs are GREAT. They're kinda stiff, but the handling ability and overall confident feel in the car is worth it. They lowered it just right for me. Not too far, but not to where its not noticable. The car sits PERFECT on the 18's. No rubbing, but very little fender gap

I wonder if that setup would work with my wagon?

Get the STi V1 front lip, and OEM sides and rear.

v1 Lip... or possibly v2... i like the v1 better.. a little more subtle...

Post pics when you do it so i know how it looks on black with that grill. I've got the same grill just been waiting to get it painted and put on... I hadn't seen another black WRX with it (ya beat me to it... bastard!...jk)...

Looks awesome though. I think you just need to throw down a little tint... 25% maybe? and possibly a rear underspoiler.. but i haven't found one yet that i really like... fellow nasiocer Davenow has a smooth rear underskirt that no one else can track down... a slightly modified version of teh stocker, without the stupid center section... that' be my first vote.

I agree. I've seen Davenow's kit. Very nice and subtle, which is kind of what i want. Now if I just knew what the hell it was
been thinking of the tint as well. Something light. I had 5% on my other car and HATED it

Actually check the BLACK Thread, i asked davenow about it (as he's been asked many times... at least one other time by me), and he left an explanation of how/where he got it... might be useful.

i'd say neither...i may be out on a limb here, but i think it would look better just stock. the front end is clean looking with just the sti grill.
and justin, how would you define stiff? my old rs had the sti struts and p1 springs, and i thought that was perfect...

Hey Juztin180... here's a link to my photo gallery on Yahoo.. I also have an MBP, but I have the V1 lip in carbon (it's getting painted next week along with my side skirts since I got backed into insurance is paying for it).

The pics of the lip are in the latest album (3rd from the left):

EDIT: see if these pics work

Well the only thing I really have to compare them to is my previous car. I had a 96 Eclipse and it had Eibach Sportline springs. Its a little stiffer than they were, but not by much.

I'll put it to you this way...I drive my car a LOT. ~30k miles in the first year i've had it and I never get tired or have anyone complain about the ride. Its a quality spring, much more so than the Eibach. My Eibachs settled within about 8 months and the car went down even further, so far these have not settled at all

Rob, that looks REALLY good. I think matching the car would be just right. I'm not going to buy just yet...i'm gonna think it over but right now i'm leaning towards the STi lip

Those rims look SOOOOO good on your car.
Also, what % of window tint do you have? Been looking to get mine done but i dont want it very dark

interesting! if you can't tell, i'm having a tough time figuring out what to do with the suspension... either way, your car looks great, and i take back what i said b4, i think the ver.1 lip looks pretty dern good on sr71's wrx.
