Default So does anyone go Fishing?

Kevin and I just went last weekend down in Homer. It was awesome weather. We didn't catch anything, but the weather made up for it on this trip.

Right now we are trying for Kings. We both plan on going to seward on Friday. We heard the Kings are in and I can snag there if I just can't get the damn fish to bite. It should be fun. If anyone else would like to go down with us and carvan, it should be fun.

Later
Lee

Wish I was there...I had a blast at the Valdez Silver run last year, between 4 of us we caught 45 in 2 days. Here is a pic of the 'but i caught. He was only 60lbs but would have won the derby ($10K) if I had only bought a ticket!!!

I've been at deep creek twice in the last week, kings were starting to actually bite a little near anchor point last friday, i hear kings in ship creek are catching up a little, just the small ones for now, maybe another week on the bigger fish.... we killed the halibut though out in the anchor point area, kept moving around trying to find the sweet spot and hooked into quite a few smaller ones.. Found 200 feet of water though and had some hits from much bigger fish about 8 miles out, need bigger rigs, one of the so called fish broke off our 100 lb line after it stripped off about 300 yards, I don't think we would've been able to contain it even if it did stay on. (had to have one story of the one that got away... we'll get it next time)
