piston rings...end gap?
I'm about to install a set of OEM standard size rings on a new piston.
The rings are the type that have an overlaping gap. Do I need to be concerned with actually measuring and possibly gapping these?. thanks, MW, Tucson

Take your finger and dip in oil
Lube up the cylinder. Take piston ring #2 and insert into cylinder and use piston in opposite direction push in about 1.5" Use feeler guage to measure gap. Compare to OEM spec. |
