Default Rear end swap (06 to 02)

I am looking for some knowledge. I am working on swapping the whole drive train from an 06 wrx to my 02 wrx, can the rear sub-frame be dropped with everything in tact? I am going to use everything on the rear end anyway, why not save myself some time. I was just curious if anyone had done it this way and/or ran in to any complications. The engine, transmission, axles and everything is going into my car, just fyi. Thanks for any input, I really appreciate it.

just make sure the ratios in the diff will work with the setup up front and you should be fine. its kinda tricky but yes it can be done this way. good luck everything will bolt up no problem unless yous going with STI stuff then i think only the drive shafts are different.
