Question Do you think the dealer will replace it for free?

Hi,

My friend bought a set of PIAA fog lights about a month ago and today he realizes that one of the lens is cracked.

Do you think the dealer will replace the cracked one for free?

Do you mean that he bought aftermarket bulbs for the stock foglights or that he bought an extra set of foglights. First scenerio they will probably replace the lens, although it might be wise to stick the stock bulb back in when you take the car to the dealership just incase they're picky. Second scenerio not a chance in hell.

No way would they replace the lense. It's not SOA's fault that your lense got cracked from a rock (I'm going to assume that that is what happened). Mine has a hole in it and I'm not going to even try to ask SOA to fix it.

I think my friend's one is due to cold/heat effect.

Unhappy

They won't do it man. I went through some looooong bull stuff with my dealer about a cracked windshield 1 month after I bought the car. no rock, just cold, heat...CRACK. I finally gave up and claimed it on my insurance. (Only because another window was broken by some punks WHO WERE CAUGHT! )

So I doubt they'll cover new fog lenses. Sucks man.

First of all, these are aftermarket fog lights right?

Second of all, SOC doesn't even offer these types of fog lights on the car. Remember that we get those cheap little ones?
