Default "New" 2013 BBS Limited wheel questions

So I currently have the 18" Enkei STI wheels on my subaru. I recently came across a set of 18" BBS limited wheels and am preparing to do the swap. They are at the powder coaters right now, but when I dropped them off, I noticed there were no hub centric rings. Im guessing since Its a stock wheel it doesn't require the ring, right? Also, will the STI center caps from my Enkei's swap directly over to the BBS wheels? Lastly, what aftermarket lug nuts are people running on stock wheels? Ive been checking rallysportdirect, but it seems like they all have a 60 degree taper, which I believe won't work on a stock wheel?

It probably won't hurt, but you want to avoid powdercoating forged wheels.

Why would an OEM wheel need hub centric rings? Not that they are needed in the first place, but the OEM wheel will have a matching center bore.

Yes.

All oem subaru wheels and lugs are a 60* conical seat. Pretty much any aftermarket nut that uses a tapered seat will fit.

Well ****. The wheels are already prepped and being coated tomorrow. Does the baking effect the structural integrity of the wheel?

Mixed responses on this. Some say it's fine, some say it will destroy your forged wheels, and some say to ask for them to bake at the lowest temp possible.

Another option is to just have the wheels painted.

I guess I'm just going to have to hope for the best since they are already surface prepped and sprayed. The roads out here in Utah are brutal, and Ive read powder coating is a pretty tough finish. The paint probably wouldn't last too long

Depends on how the power coating is done.

If they get done "low and slow" then they'll probably be ok.

Im not sure what his baking cycle is like. Ill get ahold of him tomorrow and get the details. Whats a "low and slow" cycle typically run?
