2x8's or some ramp you made should work fine. the drain plug isn't too far back it's in a cutout of the plastic shroud slightly towards the drivers side and it drains in an angle towards that direction. you should be able to feel it by hand, even with the car not lifted up. the reason you will need the extra clearance is to fit your drain pan underneath and to be able to loosen the plug while loosening it)

you are right: the jack plate (behind the plastic shroud) is pretty far back. i can access it with my floor jack, but only barely: because most of the jack arm is now under the car, i takes many "small swings" to lift the car. but it does work.

but give the 2x8s or something like it a try. it works very well and is a cheap solution and feels nice and safe, too. (assuming of course the tires are solidly on them and not hanging over either of them)

That's awesome!!!!! I never would have thought a TV that big will fit, especially in the box. I'm about to get a 42" TV soon and was thinking I may need to use my Odyssey or Explorer to pick it up. Guess not

Finished covering the steering wheel in black 1.3mm top grain leather. This took about four evenings after work to complete. I had to tighten the 350+ stitches over several passes with needle nose pliers. The leather is drum tight and very smooth. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade. I'm going to redo the shift and e-brake boots to match, then center console and door armrests.

Yeah, I wouldn't be worried about moving a 42" tv at all. The box fit the width of my rear passenger footwell without issue.

Do you understand what the MPG/ECO gauge is telling you, relative to your current Average MPG display at the top of the center console? If not, read the manual.

The Average MPG gauge affects the calibration of the ECO gauge, which makes it WAY more informative than a typical boost gauge. I refer to it frequently as I'm driving.

I still think its retarded. Plus or minus isn't hard to read. Personally I'd rather have a water temp gauge. Or something more useful.

I am however used to and loving my re-positioned mirrors. So whoever posted that a while back, thank you very much!
