No worries at all, my friend. I didn't take it as anything more than curiosity. I'm quite curious myself to see how it compares to similar set ups. Numbers are just numbers. They're always controversial. I, too, prefer to see real world results. Which is why I'm so antsy for spring to arrive. And hopefully I'm here for it this year. Haha.

And all that being said I prefer not to put my car on the dyno anymore, I'll just use the trap speed to guesstimate ha.
Can't blame that reasoning!

Good call on the core change. A Legacy with an EFR 8374 setup running 32 psi that I tuned was gaining over 100 degrees of intake temp running a 1/4 mile vs my 8374 setup running 29 psi and only gaining 14 degrees. He had the P&L fmic as well vs the 4" ETS core I was running.

What core did you end up with? Your posts need more pictures.

Ended up with a core from a local member on here who had a 3794 on his car..claimed that it worked well. It is about a inch thicker and 1-2 taller. I believe it is a garret core.

Ill grab some more pictures tonight to post up when we are working on it .

Nice, garret cores are supposed to be one of the best. There's some debate on whether or not ETS uses/still uses garret cores but I can tell you the density on ETS is about the best I've seen and the data has proved they work very well.

NA just last day of the year and it is a track in BFE ...i have a nice track about 20 min down the road but you make 2-3 passes a night if you are lucky the whole night, at that one there is rarely anyone it just requires a really long annoying drive to no where land.

Big investment for the possible gains over my current elh, i keep playing with the idea, but reality is i could just turn it up another lb and bam same gains for free lol. It keeps kicking around and around and around and around.

With my stock location turbo I picked up 2mph through the traps going from an AP EL header to a KillerB header. Same boost level. 126mph to 128mph.

True..but this turbo is at a point where i will never really be able to max it out without going full retard.

Tuner said to expect around %2 more power then my current header. Even at 800whp (possibly our unrealistic goal) thats 16whp?

Downpipe made, sending out injectors to Phil at f4m, and install the surge tank.

And then it's about time to start pulling apart the 2015 and start that one :s, so that they can both get tuned at the same time.

You should post a pic of the downpipe once it's done. I'm curious how much of a bend it's going to have to have to accommodate a turbo that's rotated that much. It appears that's a necessity for the huge housing on that turbo.

It isn't pretty but it will work . I'll post a pic tomorrow.
My turbo location has always been a problem. This is my last big turbo build though once this blows up on the dyno going to step down to something closer to a 58 so I don't feel like spending a lot of money moving it to the fog light like I wanted to at one point, or buy a real rotated kit.

I understand what he said..but at the same time my tuner said to expect a %2 ish gain from my current which is not the same header he came from and that isnt really enough to want to make me switch i decided at this point. I plan on blowing it up anyways...the car has waay more turbo then this block can handle along with the rest of the drivetrain if i need more power i will just have it turned up another lb or so. This turbo has made over 900whp on a local cobalt ss, while using a smaller exhaust wheel.

Little janky but will work

The proper way would be to get a new up and Downpipe made or move it to the fog light. But for $100 or so invested including the vband I'll take it .
