but hey, that's an STI, like i said i dunno about the WRX.
I'm going to wait at least for the break-in period to be done before I think about flashing my STi

I don't doubt any of that. Truthfully I'd love to go Stage 1. I've heard nothing but great things about a quality tune and Cobb AP. However the powertrain warranty saved my bacon in a previous car, so I refuse to give that up. My WRX is just fun A to B transportation for me, so I'll remain in blissful ignorance.

Wow, I Have searched and searched and found no number for SNE, even asked dealer and SOA. Both strongly advised me against calling them, saying anytime they are pressured they just "black list" you and you get no help or information. I expressed my discontent but never pushed further for a number. I can't wait until this thread is just a memory for me.... 5 months for a Subaru is just killing me.... I'm pretty sure I could've had a Ferrari shipped from Italy by now...

I stopped in at the dealer and asked where my car was. He looked it up on his computer and said, yes the order was acknowledged 10 days after the deposit 8 weeks ago, and yes I do have a VIN, but he doesn't think it was on the Leo Leader that dropped the cars off in RI on Wed. He also said he could be wrong because he doesn't have any more inormation than is on their network.

Sadly I think I'm going to have to throw in the towel. Ordered 9/27, dealer has no new information other then "hopefully soon". I wanted to have it before December as I have to temporarily move to Florida for my company. So with no one back in MI to sell my car for me and no idea when my WRX will be here..... Oh well, I'll just re-order in Spring.

Good Luck to everyone else!!

With people who ordered back in mid to late August and their cars arriving in late Nov and early Dec, late Sept orders still in the queue.

Oops. My bad. I was thinking Baltimore. Where they drop the Subarus. That's all I was caring about. We have a sold order Forester on there we have been waiting for since June.

Unless that Forrester is made of gold and diamonds, the buyer is going to be really disappointed they waited 5monhs.

I ordered 8/15. I'm still waiting. Over 3 months now. The good news is I got a VIN around the 3 month mark and was told it was on a ship headed to America. The computer system shows an ETA of Dec 7th. The dealer told me I can probably expect it a week earler than that.. Nov 30th. I ordered a DGM Sedan STI base + Nav.

I've already got a buyer for my current car ( 2001 1.8T Jetta ) 150hp lol. Its gonna be a BIG change having the STI.

I have a vin, and my car has been shown as "In Transit" for multiple weeks now. The LEO LEADER just dropped off a bunch of hatches at the local port. I called the dealer to ask if he had any new information and he still has no idea if my car was on that boat or not. Am I crazy in thinking the dealer should know this?

Original 2012 Order Date: 4/25
Converted to 2013: 8/15 (Receipt from Dealer, shows 7/26, given to District Rep)
VON Unknown (SoNE)
VIN Recieved 11/5

DGM Limited WRX Hatch
No port or factory installed add-ons.

Dealer had it show up on subarunet back in the end of Sep. beginning of Oct. with no VIN. He said the VIN doesn't show until they actually "buy" the car. Told me that their owner buy's all cars on their allocations outright rather than paying fees to subaru to keep cars on the lot.

I was told I would have the car by the end of Oct. as it is usually about 2 weeks once it shows up in their system. When the car didn't arrive, he revised and said I'd have it by thanksgiving. Called today and he said I'd have it by Christmas.

Going on 7 months now. And now it may be 8? WTFingF Subaru?
WoW this is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!! I can't believe you are sticking with it! That dealership is really screwing you over by stringing you along the way they are. I bow to your patience!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a wrx limited sedan in black on 9/22, just picked it up on 11/14. It came through balitmore. Perhaps it was on the same boat as some others here.

I'm not really sure about this SPT shifter ... it's a little stiff to get into gear sometimes... especially 5th. Maybe I'll figure it out or it will ease up in a few weeks.

And seriously .... hill assist ? .... I can't even disable this ? ? are you nuts?

Other than that I'm very excited about this thing, this is to replace my 05 RS that I enjoyed very much until it got trapped in a flood...

The boost gauge was backordered / unavailable (or so the guy said) but I'm going to have to work something out and install one. It's bad not knowing exactly when the boost hits and how much. The SPT exhaust is pretty sweet, a little louder than I expected, but I definately like it. The stock tune feels a little odd, I'll probably be doing a stage 1 and some other small things within the next 12 months, nothing crazy.

hehe, you have pretty good will power! just don't drive a flashed STI in the meantime, haha.

PS - you can totally remove the AP flash with no trace other than i assume some sort of total flash count change, but Cobb is pretty insistent that once unmarried there is no trace of anything remaining. i am a warranty guy too but i never fear with an AP because of that fact. even if the engine were to blow up, as long as you can still get the key in the accessory and on position, you can unmarry the AP.

SOA is throwing some goodies at her.

And it was actually May 4th when she came to us and order. Couldn't order 12s anymore and 13 ordering didn't open up till June 27th.
