I should be hearing from SoA tomorrow on why my car is on HOLD. I'll update the thread as soon as I hear from them. Too be honest, I'm not really expecting too much info... Nobody in North America seems to know how Subaru's allocation system works.

Colorado gets cars from Vancouver WA iirc. Definately NOT an east coast port. Might be the one in southern cali though.

Seems several SNE orders have recieved VINs or have a matching car "in transit" on their dealers site. (STI specific)

Can the SNE guys who are seeing "the light at the end of the tunnel" PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be a bit more proactive and try to obtain your allocation number! The Dealer will have it listed on your order.

We (I) need to see exactly what SNE allocation group is receiving VINs...

I'm in the 1114 allocation, according to my dealer the (NOV) allocation, but I have no ETA, or vin...

On a side note: PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR INFO! (Location, car(s), ect...) Or at least post with a little more information. I'm so sick of reading posts that have no information other then your obviously a new member who registered a day ago, just picked up your car, and didn't say where you got, what you paid, or if its was a 4d, 5d, wrx, or STI...

Ordered 8/8
Base SWP 4d STi w/Nav

3 weeks ago today, I spoke with the VP of Sales for SNE who gave me an ETA of mid December. I looked at my dealers website last night and saw that they have an "in transit" vehicle in their inventory which was exactly what I ordered. I'm not sure how long it's been up there as I as out of town for almost 3 weeks, but it's certainly a good thing to see. According to my dealer, I am on the 113 allocation.

Do you know how long it takes the dealer to receive the car after the car is at the rail head?

Depends on distance from port. Here in Illinois it takes about 2 weeks to get our cars from Vancouver. Give or take.

I don't know if there is an official release. I asked my dealer about this the other day and he confirmed that they are quoting 4 months right now for the STi. I will be placing an order shortly.

Cars 101 is the same site that said the 2013 WRX was going to be a 2.0 with 270 hp and rear wheel drive back in May.

How the crap do you post pictures in this thread? I just got an e-mail from my dealer with pictures of my WRX hatch sitting on the lot waiting for me to pick her up and I want to share with everyone but I'm too stupid to figure out how to get the pictures up.

I feel for you guys having to wait so long for your WRX. I ordered mine in September and got it six weeks later, guess I was lucky. Hang in there it is well worth the wait. I absolutely love this car!

Nice car!!! I love the 5doors lol. Can't wait for mine to come. Anyone got the WRB 5doors premium? I want to see what it looks like in and out.

Well the nice lady by the name of Lana at SOA emailed me back within the same say and said that my car is ordered and the hold is in the process of being remove. Which is a good news for me. Se said there is just a VERY high demand on these cars right now which I already know and told me to keep in touch with my salesman for updates on the order as he has access to the same info. At this point I'm just going to stop contacting anyone about it and just let it be.

Congrats! Although you and I have both heard good news before that ended up not panning out. Did they give an allotment#? All SNE has updated me with is a VIN through dealer, SOA got me most info. On 10/8 SNE said my STi was on the boat arriving in RI next, and would be delivered to me no later than10/22. She still hasn't arrived over a month later.... (Sorry not trying to be buzz kill and hope both our cars show up, but soo much false hope has been given before that I won't believe them until I am staring at her in person)

Thanks! I think she's beeeeeautiful but she's mine so I'm gonna be partial.

I had to force myself not to contact my dealer or SOA all of the time (I only called to get one update while making a couple of requests) and otherwise I just let it be and it seemed like that made the wait much more bearable. It still was a difficult wait but there's nothing you can do to change it, so if you can have the self-restraint....let it roll.

Ordered 6/20
Base DGM STi sedan
Have VIN
Allocation 113.

Long huge story, SOA involved SNE sucks terribly, been given many false hopes and dreams, been told numerous times car is on next allocation, next boat, etc and was even given a "arrival period" on 10/8 that vehicle would be here by 10/22. Car still hasn't arrived, and all I got was a VIN on 11/10

According to a SNE rep, and SOA , VONs are new to SNE. My dealership and the several other dealerships in CT I have spoken with, all states they didn't even know what a Von was. According to one dealership, a SNE rep stated they will be changing ordering to give Von's and be in line with SOA ordering rules. They currently do not follow them, my dealerships manager is on the ordering committee for SNE . One major issue is they wait for enough cars to batch order to reduce number of boats shipping to SNE and SDC ports. ( all could be bulls*** lines, but dealer, SNE, and SOA gave same answers all separately )
