I emailed my dealer today to check the status of my order, and he got back to me with "month of November". I wonder if mine got updated around the same time yours did.

2013 Sti 4dr sedan base with Navi?

Post the pics I know you will. And I heard that our Navi has Speed Camera Detection function, you may want to dig that out and post it up here once you get your car

I hope I will get some update two weeks later when you already sit in your SWP lol!

It was late late in the day. Had to be between 3 & 4 pm central time. I'd say check again tomorrow, and let them know others got updates late in the day. The sale doesn't count til you pick it up and pay, so they want it there quick too.

Been driving my car and enjoying it as much as I can, but I'm trying to drive as much as I can while its not storming. Bad weather all week, not really a problem for the WRX, but rather the stupid people that drive down here.

Yeah, SWP STi base sedan with nav. I too heard about the speed camera locations on the new nav. I will have to confirm. And don't worry, I will take plenty of pictures. Now I just hope the fogs come standard when you order the nav package like people have been speculating. I'm also having the dealer mount a set of limited BBS's that I picked up used with like 2,000 miles on them.

It's my first stick car so I figure i'll spend some time learning how to shift in the parking lot for a while
No worries! It will be my first stick car as well. I have practiced a bit on my friends Rav4 but i am sure this is going to be totally different.

I am actually going to have a friend help me drive it out of the dealer so I don't stall leaving the dealership and looking stupid while they are waving bye to me . Then we will find a lot and practice.

So this pretty much confirms that they did not order it and rather found it in the pipeline. I put a small deposit on the car, does this mean they should mark it as sold on the system so people/dealers can't see it? They don't have a stock number listed for my car but it also doesn't say sold.

Nah, you'll be fine. Once you figure out a clutch you can pretty much get any of them without stalling, just ease into it.

You'll be fine, seriously, sort of like riding a bike they're all a little different but once you know... you know. It's all about the clutch feel, really. My Mazda's clutch is pretty light but vague and I sort of hate it... 70k miles and to this day I never pinned down exactly where it grabs. My dad's Vette clutch action is pretty heavy but has such a nice sticky feel... tiring, but better. I honestly forget what the pedal felt like in the 11 WRX i tested... it was a generous customer that walked in and let me drive his (alone) since the dealer had none on the lot. I was too focused on not wrecking it, lol!

EDIT: Yeah what Karpediem said

Call your sales again to make sure it is marked as sold. I paid deposit for one of the dealer's allocated WRX and mine was marked as sold once the inventory list came in.It never showed on the dealership's website.

Seems pretty unscrupulous that the dealer would take a deposit and not order you a car. Not being able to locate a limited seems full of poo too. I have been looking for a premium in my area and have been passing on limiteds left and right since my dogs don't appreciate leather. If I were you I would talk to a dealer on this forum who worked within your radius. I bet you they would find you a car first, at a better price w/o hassle. SOA will probably compensate you for your turmoil regardless.

I ordered a 2012 back in the first week of May, I missed the order banks closing by about a week but was told by my dealer that they would work to locate one and were still due allocations of 2012's. Never happened, and my order was rolled into a 2013. (DGM 5 Door Limited with NAV), though I've told my dealer that both the NAV and the color were flexible if it meant getting one sooner.

To this point, I haven't recieved any info, VIN, eta, etc... I don't even know if the dealer actually placed a special order, or if they are just searching for one to be allocated. The dealer has told me that their subaru rep has my order and it's a priority for them to get me one. The frustrating thing is there is no end in sight. I'd rather have an eta of November and know when it's coming in then going through the motions every 4 weeks of calling my dealer for an update, waiting for a call back, being told no dice but that it's almost certainly going to be next month. I've thought i was getting this car 4 different months already. I'm still in the long haul, but it's an incredibly frustrating one. I'm incredibly jealous of you that you have a September ETA.
Colonial in Danbury has a DGM Limited showing up on SoNE's website. Not sure if it's been spoken for yet.

I've been checking all of the local dealers inventories, no limited hatches in the area :-(

Thanks for the tip, that's a 4 door though. I'm looking for a 5 door. I've been checking all of the local dealers myself and havent seen any DXP's.

Good to hear you too have a rim upgrade right at dealer. Sti deserves a pair of decent rims.

And if fogs do come with Navi I would swap the halogen to PIAA yellow plasma, a better winter visibility+JDM stance i believe.

I think I should get a VIN by post #2000 as the daily post rate is about 25.5 posts/day. With more and more people place order and show up in this thread, next month should have an avg. 50 posts/day.

But sept. 18 is a post peak @ 72 posts in past 24 hours!

Wow I just showed some impatience didn't I?

Plasma Blue STI Sedan w/ Navi and bunch of options:

Ordered: Aug 15th 230pm
First ETA: November

Called today in hopes I got some updates like others have... nothing. Dealer has 9 wrx/sti on order and the only cars he had updated were his wrxs got Oct 11th arrival. No status change for me, QQ.

So I filled up my gas tank yesterday. The auto stop clicked and it stopped pumping, but I tried to get another .30 of a gallon to make my bill a nice even number. Please take my warning and do not do that. I had gas overflowing. When the auto stop stops pumping the tank is officially full. (Unlike my old car).
