While you laugh at the typo I'm scratching my head at the concept of spending that much on wheels narrower than stock

yeah idk if id spend money on wheels smaller than my stockies. no matter how much of a good price i got them for.

had those same wheels on my scion tc, only paid 600$ for them since the whole hellaflush thing was starting tot ake shape and noone wanted 7.5's anymore

Honestly, i'm not concern about the smaller width of the advans. Not tracking or autocross.

1k for tires and wheels arent bad. it was 600$ just for the wheels when i got them. but i think at that point i wouldnt downgrade the width of the wrx's wheels

The only reason to go down in width would be insane weight. Like the 04 sti BBS, under 16lb each is worth .5in

The reason why i bought it because winter is coming soon and the tires is all season rather than buying tires along for $500. Adding 500 more for the rims is a good deal. Btw i will be in fresh meadow queens later if you want to meet up.

Ah I didn't think about winters, also a good reason for thinner wheels. I'm in Houston, so the concept of a winter setup never occurs to me lol
Summer tires year round!
