From what i've read it does restrict the hatch from opening fully. Maybe up to a 80% opening?

It depends on how close you set up your spoiler. The front little tips on the sides will hit the roof and crack paint if you don't use the cables to limit the hatch from opening all the way. the cables can be shortened or lengthened to suit your car.

i'll get a pic sometime of how far mine opens. I left about 3/4" space for my spoiler before it hits the roof. and mine opens a bit more than halfway.

Halfway!? That would make the hatch almost inaccessible. I wish I could just drop $3k on one of those wrc replica ones...
