Just curious what the top contestants have actually done to contribute to "scoobies for boobies".. I'm curious before I cast my ballot, because ultimately it's not just about how cool your car looks, but how much you actually support the cause. So, ladies, fill me in and earn my vote!

The Cincy area Subaru and Audi communities got together and we held the 1st annual "AWD Cruise for the Boobs" this year. Our total efforts so far have raised $880 cash directly for Sarah and Scoobies for Boobies. This is on top of my typical T shirt order each each.

Thanks again to everyone who has voted and hopefully S4B can meet its goals this year!

I can't say I support specifically Scoobies for Boobies, but I support cancer research and awareness overall. It's difficult not to be involved when you've lost family and friends to various cancers.

Besides making various charitable donations, I teach anatomy & physiology to prospective health professionals that are entering the nursing, radiology and EMT programs at local colleges (many go on to the UMBC or Johns Hopkins nursing schools). A lot of the external focus of the class is on diagnosis and treatments of various cancers.

Additionally, my day job is that of high school biology, forensic science and anatomy & physiology teacher. With my specialty being genetics, and having a background in DNA manipulation, I try to foster an interest in science and the genetics and health professions so that one day we'll see better genetics-related treatments and cures for various genetic maladies... including and especially cancer. I've already seen former students go on to make impacts in various scientific fields, so why not cancer research too?

Which cars do both?

Hint: If your car doesn't have a picture of you wearing a helmet on a closed course, it's just a show car.

... I go to an AutoX that does not require a helmet, but is on a closed course.. does that not count?

What about when you're messing around in the mud or snow, or driving on a frozen lake because it's fun.. and you have performance mods to improve handling on dirt roads and performance mods to improve your speed, etc... are you saying that doesn't matter?

So are you suggesting that one should only modify a car's performance if it's used for a closed course while wearing a helmet? ... don't you think that'll be considered a racecar only? (In which case, you need a truck, car trailer, non-road registered and dedicated racecar)

What car club? Any sanctioned(SCCA or other) car clubs I know of require helmets, simply from an insurance stand point.

Not true. I drive my track car on the street. Rally cars are "street legal" enough to drive on the roads. Helmets = Safety, Safety = Sexy

Just throwing this out there, not trying to pick on ya.

KatieO's Rumble Wagon is as functional as it's ever been with her new suspension/tire & wheel setup... it's the best of both worlds! Next year she's going to start hitting the track

(Rumble is currently getting MOAR power under the hood hehehe)

I was out till 4am Saturday morning getting these night photos... Even stumbled upon a random "rave" (lights, music, colorful people) being held outside under some sketchy overpass at 2:30am in South Downtown Seattle. Super weird.

Nice pix KatieO! I like #4.

This is a silly discussion. All of these girls Subies are awesome in their own ways. I'm not complaining... I feel very jealous b/c my car is not as pretty as the other girls cars. That hasn't been my concentration for my WRX though. My goal has always been to have a car that can go fast if I want it to & if it will make it up the mt's that I have to drive up to go snowboarding. Not to mention... for this car to be running at all is a miracle. Sure. I've raced my WRX a couple of times, drag and track... but nothing to brag about.

I have 22 votes, all of which are my friends from my Local Subaru community. I have a nicely sized turbo. A slightly built tranny and engine. Professionally tuned on 17/20 PSI.... just lacking in the exterior and wheel department. I'd say I'm doing pretty frickin well going up against these ladies.

Now I know to enter my pretty car instead of my car w/ all of the mods and good stories.

To add to what they said - other than donating every year and buying our merch, do blood, sweat and tears count for what I give for SFB?

The last time I cried for SFB it was tears of joy so I'm doing well so far this year!!
