Default WTT: my vortec supercharged g35 coupe for your black 2005 STI + cash

Curious if this will generate any interest.

Last february I purchased a 2003 infiniti g35 (before they ditched the brembos - this car has them) from hyatt here in calgary. At the time of purchase, it had 15,000km on it. My previous car was a 2004 STI with a bunch of bolt-ons. As such, the G35, although very nice, felt a bit slow. So last November I added a Vortec supercharger kit, at approximately 26,000kms. I did a lot of research before buying this kit. I wanted more power, but I wanted factory reliability and a kit with a good reputation. I didnt want it to have the quirks of a modded car, and so far I can say the vortec has done a great job of meeting that requirement. I believe they are the only kit to not be known to have claimed any engines yet. Plus it sounds like a jet engine which is pretty awesome

Im sitting at about 400 crank hp with the 7 psi pulley on a fairly conservative tune (I believe it is effectively basically 5psi at Calgary altitude). Timing has been pulled for safety, only A/F was tuned, so I know there is plenty more in there with just this pulley. The general concensus is that you can go up to about 11 or 12 psi on stock internals, and a bunch of guys are running that in their daily drivers on stock everything, even clutch. So if you are feeling ambitious, there is a ton of room to play.

No performance mods have been done to the car other than that. It is the sport package, so the suspension is a little more aggressive (though not as aggressive as the STI). I did put on the full clearbra kit covering the front bumper, mirrors, rear fenders, and half of the hood. I also upgraded the front bose speakers to some MB quarts, and added a 10" JL 10w3v2 in the trunk. It sounds great for a 10", those familiar with JLs 10 will know it rivals many other brands 12s. Most people are surprised when I tell them its only a 10. It isnt retarded loud though, because I prefer good sounding music as opposed to obnoxious thumping. Having a practical trunk was a necessity for me, so I had a box custom built to minimize the space it would take up. Its configuration leaves the trunk pass-through accessible.

The car also has a light tint all the way around.

Also included will be an aftermarket 7" fold-out touchscreen that I never got around to installing. Its custom made to fit the g35 compartment at the top of the center console specifically (the one where the nav would fold out of if equipped). Here are some pictures if what it looks like once installed:

The car stats are as follows:

Year: 2003
Model: G35 Coupe w/sport pkg
KM: Approx 32,000
Transmission: 6 Speed Manual
HP: Approx 400
Exterior Color: Silver
Interior Color: Black leather

I can honestly say Ive never really raced this car. Its never seen a track, Ive never even done a red light dash on the streets. The most stress it saw was during the dyno tune. Hell, Ive never even dumped the clutch or spun the tires. I wont lie, Ive gone WOT plenty of times of course, and its fun Ive been nice to it though.

Why am I selling? Its a great car. IMHO, a lot nicer than the sti inside and out. Infiniti service is fantastic too, Ive owned 2 subarus and it was a welcome change from the dealerships in calgary. They even give you an awd g35x as a loaner car for an oil change But honestly, its not all that practical for my lifestyle. I like to go to the mountains in the winter. I want to make trips out to BC even when the roads are really nasty. This obviously isnt the car for that. To me the STI is the best compromise between aggressive performance and still being practical for such trips. So, im looking to trade for one providing the STI owner throws in some cash to balance the value out. How much cash depends on the condition of their car. Modded STIs are welcome, because I'll probably end up wasting more money on mods after I get it anyway. To give an estimate, Im looking to get about $47,900 or equivalent for the whole deal. I may consider trades for other higher performance AWD cars (330xi?) if you happen to have any lying around.

No pics at the moment. Hopefully I'll get some soon. No tire kickers please. Honestly I am not going to bother showing the car unless you have a deal I would be interesed in and youre serious about it.

I am not sure I dig the front end or the roof vane deal on the 06. Plus I go through cars way too fast to make buying new a good idea anymore, haha. 05 would be ideal but id consider 04 or 06 possibly.
