Default Doc Murdock's STi Sportback, Nasioc's Top Scoob 016

Here is a link to a crappy video that my friend made of an unimpressive first gear pull, but you kind of get the point.

The car put down 380awhp on EFI Logic's Mustang dyno, and the awesome tune was done by Matt from Dent Sport Garage.

Here are the specifications...

-Full 2004 STi swap (motor, tranny, dash, brakes...)

-Curb weight: around 2900lbs

Engine:
FPred turbo (8cm housing)
Tial 44mm wastegate (open dump)
Accessport V1
Perrin FMIC
Perrin uppipe
Perrin Big MAF
Perrin turbo inlet
Perrin fuel rails
Deatschwerks 850cc injectors
TGV deletes
B&B 3” catless downpipe
Borla Hush 3”catback
ACT sprung 6-puck clutch
Walbro fuel pump
Flex-a-lite radiator fans with manual switch
Samco radiator hoses
Gatorade Performance overflow tank

Suspension:
D2 coilovers
Cusco front swaybar
Whiteline rear swaybar
STi BBS wheels, RE01 tire’s (235/45/17)
Hawk HPS brake pads
Stoptech SS brakelines
WRX(06) seats

Visual (kinda)
Shaved antenna, roof rails, and badges on trunk
ARC pulley cover
Tein hood dampers
Ebay oil/radiator caps

Future plans:
Build the block and add meth
Cage it at some point

Thank you's:
ECS Performance (built this car from the ground up)
DSG and EFI for all the help
NESIC, CTsubie, Massdriven
All my friends and family that supported me

Congratulations to Doc Murdock and what I can only call his STi Sportback for taking a fine win against some very stiff competition. His car is a perfect example of what is possible when you exclude the rational.

I very much want to test drive this little monster!

Congrats again Doc !!

The car looks awesome, and sure seems very well setup. Congrats on winning top scoob! I am just surprised that your only making 380 awhp on a FP Red, is it a very conservative tune and how much psi are you running? What rpm range are you seeing full boost?

The red is really not that great of a turbo on pump gas, and really needs some race gas or meth to wake it up. I do have a very conservative tune at only 19lbs, but its still a very fun car to drive. I was going to add a meth injection system recently, but both tuners that I use advised me to build the block first. The built block/cams/meth will be coming for spring, and I hope to make some good numbers then.

We need more pictures of Doc's ride!

If anyone out there has some they've taken at meets or cruises or shows or whatever please post them up.

Wait, I live down the street from you and you didn't even tell me you were entered for another Top Scoob? Not even to let me know you won?

Bull****. I hope you lock that wagon behind some garage doors tonight.
