Default HKS SSQV BOV with stock alarm issues... need help...

Alright... I'm not sure if anyone can help me with this, but has this happened to anyone else...?

I installed my HKS SSQV BOV last night. I did everything the instructions said. I took the negative off the battery before installing it, everything went smoothly. When I put the negative back into the battery and started the car, the red security light started to blink. I looked in the owner's manual and it says that the light indicates that there's a door open or something. I checked everything. Can't figure out what happened. Was it the BOV??? Someone please help me......

Also, I have an aftermarket alarm, and I dont use the stock one, if that has anything to do with it...

Very weird but I doubt it's the BOV. I installed mine and never got that kind of blinking light. Of course I didn't disconnect my battery either...

I think it's your aftermarket alarm. Knock any wires loose?

Actually, I also made this post in the dress up and style forums, and it turns out the problem was my stock alarm was on valet mode. I didnt even know the stock alarm HAD a valet mode. I just opened the driver's side door, held onto the disarm button on the factory alarm, and boom, the light went off
