stolen wheels
for all of those who know me, my car has been in the shop for almost the last 2 months now. first it was the turbo, then the shop found out that the repair shop that fixed my car in davis did a bad job on my engine.. now they said i need my WHOLE ENGINE replaced..
when you thought things couldn't get worse.... my ADVANS GET STOLEN :monkey: it's hurting my head why all these bad things keep happening to my car.. what did it do to deserve such misery!? the thing is.. my car has been at CARLSEN SUBARU for about 8 weeks now and i don't understand how it could have been stolen there.. GOLD ADVAN RG 17x7.5 wrapped in Yokohama AVS ES100 225/35-17 rubbers pictures can be found at www.pbase.com/dru18/advan and if anyone is trying to sell my stolen wheels, they have gold chipped off the center hub area of the wheel from a bad mounting job at big-o tires to be continued... -dRu

If the wheels were stolen while your car was there, personally I think its they're responsability. Did you sign any sort of papers saying it wasnt? Do they have any form of security system?

Damn dude, that's os messed up. At least you know it's over. Troubles come in threes and that's strike three. So keep your head up and things will be all good. I mean the worst that happens is that Carlsen Subaru reimburses you for everything. As for the engine, the body shop will have to reimburse you. So when do you want the UCD crew beat that stupid bitch that hit you?

Rather than trying to get moneyf rom them you could try to just get them to replace them.

Yeah Carlsen better take care of the wheels.
On their property in the care of their service, their responsibility. As for the engine, time for a 2.8 upgrade, or maybe a complete STi drivechain? |

You might want to check the service contract you signed. Sometimes they put in small print that they are not responsible for lost or stolen items....... and then you sign it.
I hope not. Good luck! |
