Default Four 18" JDM Work wheels. Needs some work. No pun intended.

I picked these up a few months ago to make a project out of them but have lost interest plus they don't clear my Brembos. I paid $100 for them and had one of the wheels straightened for $100. One more wheel is still bent but should be fixable as well. They are very light, which leads me to believe that they are forged. I don't know if they hold air at this point since I never mounted tires on them. They have a 5X100 bolt pattern and have a +50 offset. The width is 7.5 if I am not mistaken. Here is a link to the original sale:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ht=work+wheels

I'm looking to get what I paid for them plus the little extra work I did to them and gas money to go pick them up , i.e. $225 picked up.

Cheers.

Gerald.

Sorry for the late reply. I think they are Emotion CRs (Kai?) They are not like the ones available in the US. I'll see if I can throw it on a scale the next time I go to my garage.

Cheers.

They are definitely on the light side. They are lighter than my Prodrive P1s of the same size.

I'm not sure about the Prodrives, but they are cast and hence, are heavier than the Works, which I believe to be forged due to their light weight. I'll put the Works on a scale some time this week if I get the chance.

Hmm... to be honest with you, I'm not sure. I'll see if I can get a friend of mine with 4-pots to try them on. I'll post back if I find out.

Cheers.

Gerald.

OK. I just weighed them on a rather questionable scale (bathroom scale on a slanted pavement ) today and they are 24 lbs. each. Me and my friend can't accept that they weigh more than 10 kg (22.05 lbs) each for 18" wheels simply by lifting them personally; however, the the scale states otherwise.

So for now, I'll say they weigh at least 25 lbs. each.

Please keep that in mind if you are thinking of purchasing said wheels. I am going to weigh them again on a more reliable scale in the near future though. I can definitely say that they weigh more than my cast 18" Prodrive P1s though.

Cheers.

Gerald.

Not sure to be honest with you. All I was told was that they are of the "JDM" offering; take that however you may.

Cheers.
