ugh forza?????

it seemed that forza got everything right except for the driving part... the cars were way too easy to drive and drift when compared to GT4... and played a lot like the NeedForSpeedUnderground games. the powerbands on the cars are more realistic and engine swaps are cool and all... but the gameplay itself didnt spark my interest.....

tsukuba is an easy track.... lets do NURBURGRING

In GT4, take a rear wheel drive car, turn off all driver aids.

Do a doughnut.

I'd be more impressed if you could pull that off than if you could drive the ring in under a min.

You're kidding, right? GT4 is like driving on glass compared to Forza. Throw some mods on, get a bit more power, and you can kick the rear end out of an STI/EVO with just a bit of throttle and drift it around the corners like your name was Tsuchiya. Forza feels more like a real car than GT4 does. After Forza came out, I just gave up on GT4 entirely. Only recently did I find it again and play it for nostalgia sake, but it still kinda sucks.

No grip. Even playing with a moderately powered car felt like I was sliding around out of curves like the Monte Carlo Super Special Stage on snow tires.

And Kaiser, that was GT4: Prologue that I was talking about in that thread Having played Forza now, I see the error of my ways about GT.
