im always down to hang out and meet new people. you already know my thoughts on clubs though. but i have an open mind and if nothing else id help out if you needed any work done or anything. also there is a local club called scgearheads that really is an all makes club. really just a bunch of car guys hanging out. i meet up with some of them last weekend in my 240 seemed like a good group of people. there is also a big car show in charleston this weekend. im planning on going, is anyone else interested. if so let me know.

you can port the opening. what do you mean its only running at 75% ? if its running at 75% then you should have a safety margin of 25% before you need to replace it. how much boost are you running? are you having boost creep issue's?

My AP reads 75% work load at full throttle, with a stage 1 tune I'm only pushing around 8 psi, if I run the high waste gate tune then I can get it up to 9 psi but no higher

I'm pretty sure who ever had the car before me had a bunch of upgrade parts and took it back to stock before getting rid of it and maybe didn't adjust something back after they had adjusted it previously cause that's literally the only issue right now I'm not throwing any CEL or anything and everything else is where it should be when I read it on my AP except the boost and the wastgate load only hits 75% where as I'm pretty sure it should read 100% at full throttle

huh. i could be mistaken, but the wastegate isnt what regulates the boost, well unless it just isnt closing. it could be the spring in the wastegate? althought id have to do some research. i have heard of people running different springs, so when they reach a certian psi it open, perhaps they did that. not sure why they would want it to open so early though. how much boost does the stock model usually run?

post a thread and state you issue and then ask for possible causes? thats what i'd do. then check each plausible answer out.

My target boost is 16.x psi I'm thinking it's not closing since it's reading 75% ill post a thread and see what it comes up with, I read you can adjust it but turning the rod that comes off the sylinoid but I don't know anyone that's done it I'm not really concerned with pushing too much if I do that since I'm losing 7 psi somewhere and there are no vacuum leaks anywhere
