Not a fan of black/flat black wheels. they seem to disappear too easily. It drives me insane. What makes it worse is that black wheels actually look really good against the gold color of my car. But if I am going to spend a good chunk of cash on wheels, I want them to be seen. Just my $0.02.

**** like this...

You can hardly see the wheels.

I do get what you're saying, but I personally do dig the black. I appreciate the input though, that is part of my concern with getting black wheels.

Thanks, keep the opinions coming!

I'll also add that my first choice was Rota Grids in Full Royal Sports Bronze, but they are totally out of stock everywhere (even though sites still list them, they're out of stock).

That's why I'm looking at some g-forces, but yeah, I've been liking the black lately, just want some input before I go ahead and buy.

Anyone have any Rotas that are the "flat black" color? Does it shine up at all, or is it the traditional flat black look? I did see that some sites have them in Yamaha Black, which looks to be a "shinier" type black.

I would get yamaha black rota grids (look at my post on the last page) but they dont make them anymore. so idk i think i might go with the flat black ones.

Yeah i agree, I'm gonna look for the Yamaha black, I like how they seem to clean/shine up better. I will go with the flat black if I really can't find it

I've tried that before, can't seem to gain support for 17x7.5 Grids, even though I'm under the impression that 17x7.5 is a common size. Because of that, I'm looking at the G-Forces. Yeah I dig the black, I do get people saying they don't like the black, and I understand why, but (without having seen them in person at all) I do think they look cool.

I actually kinda like the gold, but my friend has good BBSs on his car, so I'm not trying to copy him.

Heavily leaning towards the black (yamaha or flat, whichever I can get) g-forces.

The unfortunate thing is I was told that the Bronze Grids would be back in stock by like June or mid-June, but I don't want to wait that long because I'm still rolling on my winter tires.

He's talking about a custom order.

If you buy 4 sets, you can get almost whatever you want.

I have a question for the guys who purchase WRX hoods to put on their 2.5i's. I'm not hatin, but i just want to know what happens when it rains? Since there is no TMIC for the scoop to force air into, is there just a gaping whole forcing air on top of the engine?

Ks tech makes a filler plate that looks like a grille. It's made for cars that do a front mount.

If I did the swap I would make something to prevent debree from getting in there but would allow cool air to enter the engine bay.

I think that's just the grillcraft grill. Still let's air in but blocks leaves and such. That's what I have.

I mounted my 4 gauge amp power wire through the driver's side front fender well a couple weeks ago.. couldn't believe the amount of wet leaves and sticks and crap FILLING the space behind the fender liner! There was about the size (volume) of a two-liter bottle of crap, wet on bottom, dryer on top... just waiting to eat a rust hole in my first ever bran-new car.

I took pics of the pile 'o crap that came out. I forgot to post it then, but last night I installed my Rally Armor UR mudflaps and found the same gob of gunk in the passenger side fender well too. What a horrible design, open fender wells at the top so stuff just falls in there and turns to muck. I had absolutely no rust starting, but I bet if I never checked, rust would have started soon..

Anyone who hasn't taken their front fender liners apart yet for mudflap installation or whatever, you need to take out the clips and get a plastic coated clothes hanger or similar shaped thing and pull all the leaves and stuff out of your fender wells before your car self destructs with rust from the inside out.
