Default Need help from the guys in JDM land, and or Europe

Ok here's the skinny.

Us first gen legacy guys have a lead on possibly getting glass headlamps from Japan or possibly europe, since they are LHD as well. The problem we have is we need the part numbers.

So if there is anyone in Japan or in Europe that could get the part numbers for the headlamps & any associated housing that goes with them.

The styles & US years are 90-91 & 92-94.

The info I have is that the 90-91 models had a housing, not sure if that's different for the JDM stuff. The 92-94 models didn't look to have this housing. However the parts sheet may be wrong. If you could get info on everything that would be needed to plop them in, that would be great.

In Japan the first gen would have run from 89-90, and the gen 1/2 would have run from 91-93.

Thanks in advance

Josh

Wow.....really appreciate the info wrx_sti_ver4.

Would you happen to have any clarification for the Revisions, like model years they went on, or whether certain ones had the "city" light.

Thanks again for the info.

Josh

BTW: here's the link the thread on the legacy central board http://www.bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=555

Just incase anyone wants to read the orig threads and see some pics of the different lights.

Revisions A & B were the original body style, available from 1989 while Revision C & D refers to the "facelift" model that had different headlights, front bumper, front guards & rear lights - from 1992/3 onwards (until BD/BG model anyway)...

Thanks SubbyRS,

It looks like the updated part numbers for revision A are the same as Rev. B.

Any idea why there is a difference between rev. C & D? Does rev. C/D difference refer to sedan vs. wagon?

Thanks

Josh

I'm not sure why they're different, but the difference isn't between the sedan and wagon. All of the numbers posted above are for the sedan (likely the same numbers for the wagon).

Default headlights

Anybody know how I would go about getting a set of headlights from the 2003 Legacy GT that is sold in Germany and France both of these countrys are left hand drive same as us.

I did not want to start a new thread as the questions here are already pertaining to european headlights.

Thanks, Pat.

No, both sedans...maybe the RS-RA sedan has better/brighter headlamps?
