Getaway In Stockholm 3
Hey wassup guys, well I was just introduced to a beautiful lil' home made piece of pie...called Getaway In Stockholm 3 where anonymous drivers take their high cost cars (I know one is a 911 Porsche) and go full-pedal throughout Stockholm where they encounter police about every 5 minutes and make them look like scooters...you can check out their site at - but of course - www.getawayinstockholm.com...however on their site it requires you to order the video...I'm sure you can find them on Kazaa or something. Just thought I'd bring this to everyones attention, who hasnt seen them already.

My all time favorite underground street racing video is both "Getaway in Stockholm" number 1 and 2. Had a copy on a CD with me when I was in Anchorage in May, but never had the chance to show it, or get some more copies burned. Didn't know the number 3 was available yet.

Just saw 1 and 2 and these things are seriously cool.
1 starts out with the porsche getting flagged down by two sweedish cops in their volvo station wagon cop car. They pull in front and slow down to a stop. The porsche sits still until the two cops get out and start walking towards it, then goes into reverse and the cops realize what is going to happen and start yelling and waving their arms. Hillarious. You have to watch these with full sound so you can appreciate the symphony of the flat 6 on boost. 2 is even more fun. The cosworth following the supra, both tuned to about 450 hp. The main camera is mounted on the ford's bumper and you get some seriously good engine/turbo bov sounds througout the vid. They come upon a cop going the same direction and the supra slams on his brakes while the cosworth shoots past both of them and just hauls until the supra eventually passes him and the cop is left waaaay behind. This one ends with a high-speed run in excess of 300kph according to the speedo. Some of the cameras they used in this one didn't survive and they couldn't use their helicopter footage for some legal reason, so most of it is from the main camera. |
