Default 2010 Impreza 2.5i 5-Door Exhaust Options

Hey I was just looking into getting a new exhaust for my 2010 impreza 2.5i hatch. Ive done some looking around and ive been having a hard time looking for one that has sound links along with them. If you guys could give me some direction to a brand that sounds good that be great, or even some links. Im looking for moderate-aggressive or just something that doesnt drone me out on long drives. Im a student on a budget (why its only a 2.5i). Thanks for the help!

If you are looking for NO drone, go with a stock WRX catback. Anything aftermarket is gonna have some sort of drone on our cars..

I have an SPT catback, a lot of guys have stock WRX, Nameless, Magnaflow, etc.. List goes on and on.. It all basically comes down to what you think looks the best.

I recommend starting from the beginning of the ('08-'10) 2.5i thread...

I enjoy my Borla (not the dual tip exhaust). I don't mind driving distance with it, but when you press on the peddle the car comes to life.

I have the WRX catback - no real difference when inside, and only a subtle one outside. The good part is that they are bloody cheap and it's a bolt-on installation.

I'm in love with my tsudo n1 catback. For the best sound, take the mid pipe and muffler off and have nothing no exhaust pipe at all.

Did you install that yourself, and compared to just the regular install whats the difference in sound? And any idea how to lift my hatchback without a hoist so i can work under it cause or else i have to pay a mechanic. I have infact ordered my N1 and should be here next week!!

You can always go old school and back it up on the curb of your drive way. Should be enough room to drop it if you don't have a jack. Your car should have came with a jack tho. Let us know how the tsudo works for you. I currently have a stock wrx but it's still really quiet.

Sorry I am super late on this. I never thought to check back. Tsudo is pretty loud and shakes everything in my cup holders glove box etc... If I can find it there's a video of it on YouTube.

Hey guys, can anyone confirm that this exhaust would fit a 2010 2.5i premium sedan?

http://www.rallysportdirect.com/Name...-Polished-Tips

I'm not sure since I've seen the Impreza have a number of stock exhaust configurations. Since I have dual exhaust I don't expect it to be incompatible, but I just want to be sure.

Thanks!

This will fit.... but it will be LOUD! And I don't think the muffler delete on the stock EL header sounds good - unless you want to sound like an angry misquito

Damn I realized I posted this in the wrong thread, thanks for the help! I didn't consider the headers.

Where can I find a stock WRX Exhaust "bloody cheap"? I'm new to this whole experience, and I'm unsure of where to look.

Craigslist, local Facebook Subaru groups/forums. You may have luck in a junk yard.
