Default So this happened today =s

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnWa8...ature=youtu.be

As i was accelerating, my throttle all of a sudden cut off for about 3 seconds and kicked back in?

Happened this afternoon and hasn't happened again.. not really sure what's going on. fuel pump? Injectors? I need a proper tune? Maybe fuel cut off because of a boost spike? I have no idea.

Currently have

when it cut off, was your CEL flashing?
If not, is your CEL lightbulb even working?

Boost cutoff. It happens to me when I accelerate too fast (especially on cold days). Being catless will do that to you. You should also look into porting the turbo, tune and maybe other stuff that I can't remember.

didn't you read the 5mph full booost wot problem from a few years back

seriousness, you took a corner how low was your fuel? could have sloshed from the pickup and you had fuel starvation.

it happens, I killed my fuel pump on my 02 bugeye rounding a corner with almost no fuel and it sloshed starved and dead.

I am sure my Foz is not pushing out that much boost either. But every once in a while I will step on it to get up to speed on Alex Fraser and I hit the cut off. Otherwise it is all normal.

Half tank is possible. Ask the autocross guys they can starve under 3/4 tank especially wrx's. Plus your gauge isnt super accurate and the 2nd half is the less then the 1st half.

I'm going to go fuel pump on this one - same thing started happening to a buddy of mine in his mini and he hooked a up a fuel pressure gauge and sure enough! Wait and see if it starts happening more frequently.

Ah! Happens to me sometimes. I'll go around a corner and suddenly no power. The gas sloshes to one side of the tank and when fuel's low there's actually nothing under the pump for a moment and it pumps nothing (til you straighten out and gas sloshes back down).

More so on right turns then left it seems; must be the shape of the tank or the pump's installed slightly off-centre. Were you below 1/4 tank when that happened?

Common fuel pump placement issue on 2002 WRX, but should only happen on right turns with 1/2 tank or less. If it cut off while going straight, that'd be another issue.

About 50%. So it is probably just the tank design.

My o 02 bug eye has a fuel slosh problem once it's at half a tank. If I take a right turn at heavy boost it'll starve the fuel pump and nosedive for a couple seconds. Didn't watch the vid but I bet that's your problem.
