Yes you will need fender mods. Those tires are going to REALLY be stretched on there, why not go wider and higher offset to have it fit well?

Did you bother looking through this thread at all? That'll give you a general idea of what's necessary.

yes I did actually.... And out of all these pages I havent found anything on the setup I posted about. You are correct in that fender modification info is here but how am I supposed to know if it is going to need a roll/pull or both? (point of thread) Hence my question.....

You being a retard isn't an excuse. That question has been covered. If you can't find the answer, you shouldn't be modifying your car.

Any 9" +25 wheel information will work for what you need.

You obviously haven't read the offset thread, or even more than the first post in this thread.

If you need to be spoonfed information, modifying cars is NOT the hobby for you.

You'd probably want to invest in some rear camber bolts as well ($30-50).

So I've read and read and read some more, and I THINK I know what I need to run either of these setups, but still a little uncertain, so I figures I would turn to the fitment gurus in this thread. As far as I can tell both of these setups will fit with the rear fenders rolled, but my question concerns the offset. I am looking at the Rotas due to price and the higher offset, but I would prefer to run the Enkeis if at all possible. Would I be able to get away with just the rear fender roll, or would I have to pull also considering the lower offset?

Also, I have read a lot on here that lower offset isn't as detrimental as some people would say it is, but would this in any way sacrifice handling, or put unnecessary wear on 5x100 lugs during hard cornering? (If only the new RPF1s would come in a higher offset )

as far as camber adjustment...you need more than stock for both setups. the +35 will pretty much require camber plates, but the +42 could get away with just bolts.

the +42 and 245's should fit easily with just a rear roll.

alignment: Going to try for -1.5 f, -1 r. I have camber bolts for the rear if need be.
fender mods: none yet.

What kind of work would be needed to make either of these fit? I Wouldn't mind doing fender work.

I would prefer to go with the Awesome's because a 245 tire is a little big for an 8" wheel but if it would cause too many problems I would probably just go with the rpf1's.

Thank you.

Being low enough to pull this off visually and saying "is it to aggressive" is subjective. You'll scrape on everything, and rub on every corner. Your car will become a 2 seater.

Is it worth it to you?

Oh and works but BC's? Lol.

Pretty aggressive fit for a GC. Roll all around plus possible rear pull depending on camber.

245 is not too big for an 8" wheel. Probably need a bit more camber with the 9's. You'll also need to roll the rear with the 9's and 245's.

The enkei will be a bit lighter.

Got all that from a quick search. The only difference is that you can't roll the rear fenders on the '05-07 STi, the lip on the rear fenders needs to be ground down. Only the rear needs to be modified, front can be left untouched.

Start with a roll (or trim), then go from there. 17x9 +42 doesn't necessitate a pull nor does 17x9 +39 with a 255/40/17 and stock rear camber.

im planning on getting 225/40/18 Federal 595SS tires. what are you guys' input on this? i want the fender to sit right above the tire so i have no wheel gap. i know i might have to slightly pull my rear fenders. im going to get my alignment done as well; i need to get new tires.

so if i were to go lower than i would need to pull my fenders correct? (tucking a little tire) would i not have to pull my fenders if i were to get a 235/40/18 with the fender sitting right above the tire?

noone can give you the answer you are looking for. fitment depends on WAY too many factors for us to give you a clear cut answer.

buy the setup thats already been suggested. you'll need to buy tires again at some point. figure it out then if you want to go wider or not.

Thanks for your help on fitment...

the wheels in question are really rare, from a 22b STi.

Stick with 235/40.

Lowered as little as possible is not 1". A 1" drop on our cars is significant.

You want some negative camber. Not sure why people think they want 0 camber.

You'll need to roll the rear fenders at a minimum. How much depends on your alignment.

Sorry, that was a copy \ paste that i left the camber portion in, it should have read 'stock' / whatever is required for the ST.

I beleive the ST Coils say the highest setting is 0.8", but i figured there's be some settling in on the springs and it'd drop to 1". As my car sits it's stock suspension. I'm guessing they'd fit stock? I think i'd work the suspension around these wheels, not the other way around.

Roll and pull the rear. How much depends on the alignment.

Front can be left untouched but you'll rub at full lock with the 265.

What do you mean whatever is required for the ST? You determine the alignment specs.

0.8" what? You don't adjust the springs for ride height, you adjust the collars. The springs are a set length.

You'll rub with the stock suspension. You have some misconceptions that need to be addressed.
