I saw pictures of the wheels and tires and they dont look that stretched. What kind of fender mods would I need?

[quote=nhat;39195287]Did you bother looking through this thread at all? That'll give you a general idea of what's necessary.
yes I did actually.... And out of all these pages I havent found anything on the setup I posted about. You are correct in that fender modification info is here but how am I supposed to know if it is going to need a roll/pull or both? (point of thread) Hence my question..... |

You obviously haven't read the offset thread, or even more than the first post in this thread. If you need to be spoonfed information, modifying cars is NOT the hobby for you. |

Start with a roll (or trim), then go from there. 17x9 +42 doesn't necessitate a pull nor does 17x9 +39 with a 255/40/17 and stock rear camber. |

so if i were to go lower than i would need to pull my fenders correct? (tucking a little tire) would i not have to pull my fenders if i were to get a 235/40/18 with the fender sitting right above the tire? |

buy the setup thats already been suggested. you'll need to buy tires again at some point. figure it out then if you want to go wider or not. |

Lowered as little as possible is not 1". A 1" drop on our cars is significant. You want some negative camber. Not sure why people think they want 0 camber. You'll need to roll the rear fenders at a minimum. How much depends on your alignment. |

Sorry, that was a copy \ paste that i left the camber portion in, it should have read 'stock' / whatever is required for the ST. I beleive the ST Coils say the highest setting is 0.8", but i figured there's be some settling in on the springs and it'd drop to 1". As my car sits it's stock suspension. I'm guessing they'd fit stock? I think i'd work the suspension around these wheels, not the other way around. |

Front can be left untouched but you'll rub at full lock with the 265. Quote:
0.8" what? You don't adjust the springs for ride height, you adjust the collars. The springs are a set length. You'll rub with the stock suspension. You have some misconceptions that need to be addressed. |
