DIY pics of wire mesh grilles onto MY04 scoops
Has anyone DIY a wire mesh installation onto their bonnet scoop? just hope to see some pics to confirm the procedures and feedback about the safest way to do it. thnx

I have been thinking of making a grill kit for the 04, but havent seen alot of interest in these. I do sell a kit for the 02-03, but if you really like I am sure I can do the same for the 04.

The Jax Mod Squad sells one via Kastles Korner that will fit the 04 like gangbusters and is really economical. I got one and it works perfectly.

he used black zipties..if you look at the top of the black supports you can see little bulges....great install.
you by chance know where I can get a template for a non sti? I have a normal 04. I'd love to get that put in there and down in the grill. I'm going to do black though. Getting sick of blowing bees out of my intercooler. |

I would assume you could just cut it down a bit. THe top is going to be the same.

I'm gonna redo the zip ties (the top ones show the lil plastic nub) on the top so the nubs don't show.
I'll look for other template and post a link here. I'm with ya on th ebees in the intercooler, tired of picking the crunchy dead bodies outta there. :-) |
