I like the Medallion. All kinds of shiny goodness that looks so good at night. Gotten used to the dual tip look. I'm assuming this will also fit the STi sedan?

May not, they need and should have tested with an STI which has the larger diff.

I love how the canisters angle out giving the impression of a dual n-1 exhaust. Dennis, does the concept g blue only come as a turbo-back?

Oh ok, got ya. Ya the Sedan has a dual muffler set up whereas the HB is a big single. I wonder how much different they sound? Its just hard to tell if they sound different due to the inconsistancy of cameras used and so on

No idea when and how much. Judging from their blog, the test fit was successful and will be offered soon. TBE and CBE. Not sure about your last question.

Did you get to drive much with the Concept G Blue? Just curious if it resonates bad? I am also looking at an Invidia N1 exhaust but this just looks amazing...plus it deals with the open spot on the other side of the bumper...but would you say it is tolerable for long HWY cruising or would it be annoying?

i have not driven with any of the parts yet, only Tanabe's R&D team. I only follow their R&D blog hehe. I believe the Concept G Blue comes with a silencer of some sort as well. As far as I can tell, and from what I've read from others' past experiences, Tanabe exhausts are well regarded as "quiet" in comparison to other exhausts

Sick deal, thanks for the input. As long as its not louder than the Invidia Im fine ahha...what one would you take given the choice?

It'd be a toss up between the Concept G Blue and Medallion Touring.. Concept G Blue just looks amazing, and I like that it can sound beastly, yet, offer the option of taming it down a bit. The Medallion Touring has that clean, shiny quad tip look that I've grown a bit accustomed to after owning the 2011. In the perfect world, there would be a Concept G Blue with quad tip exhaust

In the end though, both sound quite classy, without that over the top sound that Subie's should always avoid

Anyone bolt up an Invidia N1 Race to their 11 WRX sedan?! I am considering this exhaust, but I want to make sure there are no fitment problems, and that it bolts right up to the stock downpipe.

Thanks!

I'm not saying it sucks on the hatch, however, there is a reason that a Limited hatchback comes with an SPT package (the exhaust and some stickers) whereas the sedan does not.
Are you sure about that last bit? I just crawled under my WRX Limited hatch with a flashlight, and it sure doesn't look like the SPT system to me (the SPT's pictured in the clips have flared-out tips, and the muffler inlet is in the center instead of on the side).

Which also brings up a question: am I correct in observing that you lose some ground clearance with the SPT system on the hatch?
