Had my 08 STI tuned by Brenn.
Perrin turbo back
AEM cold
Brenn got me 323 whp.
Broke ring land in #4. Had it rebuilt under warranty. Motor blew 2 months ago.

Didn't play around this time had motor built by Motive Auto Works. Berto was in contact with Brenn during the build and he suggested Dom 1.5. Will make appointment with Brenn in a couple weeks still breaking in motor.
Mods:
Dom 1.5
Grimspeed 3 port boost control
Omni 4 bar map sensor
Brian Crower stage 2 cams
AEM cold
WALBRO 255
Perrin turbo back
Gt header
Moroso air oil separator

Alberto at motive was awesome and did an awesome job.

I'll chime in, too. Have an 08 STI. Got tuned shortly after purchasing @ 60k miles. I've put 14k miles on the car in 6 months and it has never once hesitated or given me any trouble at all. Currently Stage 1 w/ no mods. Made ~300whp/350wtq on his dynopack. Night and day difference over stock. Bren has also been great about answering questions I have had on parts, maintenance, and general subaru stuff. I wouldn't bring my car anywhere else. Thanks Bren!

He tuned my TP stage 3 with headers 2013 wrx this spring after answering my questions for about 5 months. I'm very happy with the results (325/385), and the way the car performs, and have had no issues with his tune since.

Been trying to get him to tune my Concours 14 as well!

I made it out to Bren for a long overdue tune on my 09... He put in some work to help me unlock my ecu which was apparently locked down by something despite buying my car brand new. Made some really good numbers on a conservative tune too, basically +40/40 on an otherwise stock '09. It was great being there with everyone on Saturday, even if only for a little while.

I just replaced my '04 STi with an '03 Audi RS 6. I'm going to give Bren Tuning a call shortly! I'm eager to get a baseline before and after dyno, rather than just plugging in a tune from Eurocharged or APR and trusting the butt dyno.

Best tuner every in my opinion. Aside from leaving there with my car running fantastic, I love seeing the cars kicking around. Bren is the man.

I decided to give my '12 WRX a treat, and got a tune from BrenTuning yesterday, at his new location in Charlton, MA., after asking some questions and getting good answers first.

Car is my daily driver, has Process West intercooler, Nameless Performance TBE (catted, 5" mufflers) and Forge BPV. Bren suggested getting an intake, Cobb SF, and Turbosmart wastegate actuator for the tune.

Couldn't be happier with the results Really pulled everything together to make it all work nice. @ 315 tq/305 hp. on his mustang dyno, and not stressing. It's now crisp and responsive throughout the range. Gone are the boost spikes and wastegate flutter issues I was having (Had been running a Cobb stg 2 OTS tune which I knew didn't take into account the PW intercooler).

Very knowledgeable, great to deal with, impressed me as understanding Subies really well. Suggested a good next step for me would be headers, so I'm hoping I'll get it together to do that not too far into next year :-)

Would definitely return when I need to, and would fully recommend, well worth it.

Many thanks!

I can't say enough good things about Bren's work. I feel like he's the Picasso of the tuning world, because what he does is an art! No amount of schooling could teach anyone the natural talent he possesses, the man was born to tune! I had an '03 WRX wagon with only a full 3" catless TBE, Perrin up pipe, Grimmspeed 3 port boost controller, and 255 lph fuel pump and he managed to extract 270 WHP out of the 2.0! The car ran beautifully and even gained 1 MPG! But what really amazed me was the magic I saw him work on 2 other customers cars that day. They both had Legacy GT's (iirc each car was equipped with an 18G turbo) which had just been tuned by another shop and I think a reputable one at that. These guys weren't totally satisfied with their tunes so they came to Bren. Each car showed up with around 300 WHP, which Bren also got as a baseline. One guy left with 340 and the other with 355 I think! All done with a laptop. Both customers were also thrilled with how much better their cars ran.

Last winter I picked up a doner '02 WRX with a VF34 and a few other basic mods. I swapped the drivetrain into a '93 Impreza. When I test drove the car the first time the AFR's were super lean, like almost 13:1 at redline! The ECU had been reflashed with an E-tune and aside from the dangerously high AFR, the car ran like crap. I flashed on Cobb's VF34 map just to get me by until I could get the car to Bren but that too ran poorly. I live on an island and it's not easy to get my car to him so I called him for an E-tune. After the initial reflash and a couple of data logging sessions/and Bren's adjustments, the car has run perfectly ever since and pulls very well.

Also, Bren has been extremely helpful, patient, and generous with his time and knowledge of Subarus. I have bothered him a lot with questions about parts combos, etc. because I totally trust his opinion.

Now I'm considering revamping my whole setup and possibly swapping in an EJ257 in pursuit of around 400 WHP. And once I get all the parts together for that, I know just the man to tune it perfectly!

Thanks for all your help, Bren!

I"ll keep it short, brentuning saved my car literally from "doom and gloom!" They even put up with my ****, which I publicly apologize for! No hard feelings? :-)

Bren is nothing short of amazing, my car drives incredible and the power delivery is so awesome!

05' FXT w/ vf48 and support mods = 300hp/338tq!! AMAZING!!!

They don't just do work, they put there heart and soul into there work! Your car isn't tuned until its brentuned!

I'll echo everyone else, it's not only a great shop, but the brentuning crew in just super cool.

I'll continue to trek out from Boston for all my future work

Thanks do much, my car and I owe you one!

I got my 02 WRX street tuned by Bren and after a back and forth of emails and a miscommunication he stayed after he closed to tune my car which not a lot of people would do. He did a great job, I love how the car pulls and how it compares to stock, it was like night and day. I plan on getting dyno tuned in a month or two because I just need to get my injectors then I can install my VF39 EWG setup can't wait!!! I recommend Bren to all of my friends!

saw that. i'm not ready for a retune yet but would like to do some dyno pulls though it looks like you're dedicating the day to tunes. maybe i'll come by anyways just to say hi and check out the shop.

ps, i'm planning to swap out the stock bpv for a turbosmart kompact bpv this weekend. as far as i can tell it should not cause any issues or require tuning. correct?

Hmm install a decal? No ECU support for those right now.

Correct, no power pulls. Just dyno tunes.

And no, no retune needed.
