You're right! I should have been quoting this instead ^ minus the homosexual reference; I apologize . All of the hitchhikers i have picked up so far have been decent people and are appreciative of someone helping them out... I guess I just feel like death by hitchhiker is a pretty unlikely occurence, but who knows?

My older sister was visiting and came for a ride in my 08 WRX for the first time. On the way to the car she kept talking about her friends 04/05 3 series BMW. "it's so fast and nice and.... blah blah......BMW....$$$$....blah blah...

When we got back home she told me my car was way faster and her friend would be pissed to see how fast the rex is in comparison. Subie FTW

"You can't get that much power out of a four cylinder. Theres no way a wrx/sti can take a muscle car with it's hypothetical "300hp". " Then he said to reference a car, the new challenger, then I youtube it, he listens now. It was funny, I've followed tunning since I could drive.

My buddy seems to have all the luck with stories. Yesterday he called the parts department at Subaru to get a gasket for his bov bc his old one was leaking. the guy who picked up asked him where that would go. He told him between the bov and intercooler and the guy put him on hold. When he picked up again the guy asked him to repeat what he had just said and my friend said he could hear him repeating it to another person.

I'd just find th parts numbers myself. It's what I have to do since the dealer in town puts GM fluids in their subarus for the 30/60/90k maintenance, and didn't know if the STI was an impreza trim, or an outback trim.

Yesterday out front of a Startbucks in San Clemente....

This WAS on 4/20... and he seemed pretty faded....but here we go...

Guy: "I check out that car all the time when you are here.... that thing is freakin' DIRTY yo... I would love to drive that."

Me: "Thanks?....." (slowed my pace walking while I tried to figure out if that was a compliment or not but kept going into the Starbucks)

Later when I returned to class a friend of mine looked up "dirty" in the Urban dictionary... It means "really good. a superlative, sick, awesome".... or it can mean it needs a car wash if we go by Webster's definition. I am still trying to figure out if it was a compliment or not.

Technically, they are an aftermarket company after all. Obviously they come stock on alot of cars though and a subie dealership should know they are stock on STI's.

If the dealer doesn't know whether an STi is an Impreza model or an Outback model, I don't expect them to know Brembos come stock.

I was getting in my WRX after class just about to leave campus:

Friend- That your WRX?
Me- No it's that guy's over there, just figured I would warm up the seat for him
Friend- haha funny, well we should race sometime!
Me- No. But just out of curiosity what do you have?
Friend- a 2009 Honda CBR 600, I would smoke you!
Me- No s**t

Pulled up next to a V6 Mustang at a stop light...kid looked to be in high school and had 2 girls with him. He proceeded to rev his engine at me, I just look over and grin.

Light turns green and I launch quite well, leaving him far behind we pull up to the next light and I look over and he goes "dude, it's a V6" (referring to his car and using this as an excuse to his loss.) I laugh and say..."mine's a 4 cylinder man." He doesn't say anything else lmao.
