Anybody in Harrisburg good with open source tuning?
Does anyone in the Harrisburg area have a tactrix cable that I could borrow or rent for a few days and then could possibly help me tune my car? I am in need of a pro tune but with a pending marriage and just buying a house I'm pretty much broke as hell right now. I need to get a decent open source tune until after the holidays and I've always wanted to learn how to open source tune myself but would like to have someone experienced lend a hand so I don't blow up my car.

not sure of anyone with one.....but i know that john kerr tunes open source....and cbrd down in york does open source and has a awd dyno...but none of that does you anygood since you want to try it your self and getting them to tune cost loot....which is kind of why i haven't done anything yet to warrant getting a tune....

i know about CBRD. i actually attempted a tune there about 2 years ago and they detected a spun rod bearing which led to me getting a hybrid rebuild at IAG. the guys down there at CBRD were awesome to work with (when they answer the phone or emails). i know that chad is doint time attact now so i'm sure he's more busy and it seems like they also cater more to evo's.
but... back to my original point, i just don't have the $700 lying around for a pro tune right now and i've never gotten a tune since my motor being rebuilt after the break in period. granted, i was deployed for almost a year of that time and i don't drive very aggressive but it is something that i want to get done soon so i can help avoid future problems. |
