Default How long have you owned your Subaru?

I bought mine I November 2005 and this year will make year number 7. At this point, I haven't babied it since I've owned it, I'm doing what I can to turn it into a dedicated track car. The car is not worth the money I put into it. Selling it would mean taking a big hit on my part. Parting it out will be something I regret in the long run. Keeping it will be a hassle if I buy a DD b/c I'm single and in the military;easy target for PCS orders. But, somehow, keeping it is the best option right now.

What about you? How long have you had yours and do you plan to commit to keeping it?

5 years almost to the day.
I plan to keep it for at least 5 more.
Right now it only has 34k on it so it should last a good long time still!

6 weeks for my WRX and 2 years for my wife's Legacy. I plan to keep both cars for a while. I may "upgrade" to an STI in a few years but for right now I'm happy.

August will be 9 years and 60k miles, I love the car. I told my wife that I want to be buried in it but she just laughs at me.

I've had the 69 360 for 6 years. Have had the 95 Impreza for 2.5 yrs love it no plans to ever part with it. Before that an 02 WRX wagon for a year and a 02 WRX sedan for a year didn't really like those too much.

Bought my 02 wrx wagon almost exactly 3 years ago with 98k miles. 169k miles on it today. I've put a lot of time and money into this car, and I'm really happy with how it's driving, but I'm thinking it's time to cut the chord and move to two separate platforms. I'm realizing there are more enjoyable cars for the track, and there are more sensible dailydrivers as well.

So what I think I'm going to do is pick up a stock EG or EK civic for a daily driver and a miata for the track. I should be able to even put some money in my pocket along the way.

Two and a half years for the LGT. Put about 40k on it so far and I have no plans of getting rid of it anytime soon. I payed it off a few months ago and not having a car payment is pretty cool.

I've had my car for about 7 months now. I tell my wife I plan to drive it until the wheels fall off...which is the truth. Until it becomes reasonably unfixable or gets wrecked (hope not!), I'm gonna keep driving it.

Bought my 07 WRX with 32xxx on her a little over two years ago. She's got a little over 65xxx now, I love it so much I just recently bought a 99 OBS with 181xxx on her as a daily driver to keep the miles down on the WRX

Subies for life
