Well I finally got around to re-tuning my STi after I added the FMIC, SPT intake and took off the Forge BPV and EWG.

Big thanks goes to XX Chris and the XXTuning facility that never lets me down. My clutch has been feeling a bit weird the last few weeks and I found out on the dyno and on the street that it was Slipping. I still made good numbers though, on one pull the car made 307whp/366wtq, then 306whp/360wtq...I left with 306whp/357wtq @20psi with clutch slip. I gained 4-5whp/8-12wtq with the fmic and the clutch slipping I hit 20psi @ 3200rpm and I don't have to worry about heat soak. Next up is a Clutch, Meth and 1 step colder plugs...I'm coming for you high 11 seconds...

Humidity that day was ~50***37; and temps were up at ~90* i think...

THANKS to XXCHRIS!

My Old Numbers:

The EWG held boost for about 800rpm more, but the noise got to be too much for me so I had to let my lil' ewg go...

Tuned at Engine Logics in Houston, TX.
Pump is 93 octane and race gas was VP MS109.

And in case you're wondering here is the bone stock baseline for the car on the same dyno.

And here's the stock vs. current race gas compared.

Mods (2006 FXT):
# APS 70mm CAI
# AVO Turbo Inlet Hose
# Turbochargers.com 50 Trim, 8cm housing- IWG, Std. Inlet
# WBR FMIC
# TGV Deletes - porting by Engine Logics
# Stock modified WRX injectors, ~810cc
# V2 Maddad header and uppipe
# Cobb Turbo-back Exhaust with Catalytic Converter - 3" adapter to remove donut gasket
# Cobb Accessport V2 - Engine Logics Protune w/LC and FFS
# Perrin Lightweight Pulley
# Mobil 1 10w30 Synthetic Oil
# Perrin EBCS in interrupt mode
# NGK Iridium Spark Plugs (1 range colder than stock)

At my last 358whp tuning session with a TMIC, the track results were high 116mph passes in 80-90 degree temps. I'm hoping with cold weather this winter to try and trap 120mph.

tuned by turbo xs. the engine is a full billet cosworth longblock with cosworth 275 cams. the turbo kit is a turbo xs gt35r kit with 1100cc injectors. on just pump gas the car made 452.9whp at 24 psi. we are changing the turbo soon and going for the mid 500's on pump gas.

Thumbs up

Got road tuned by Ed today and I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied. My car is finally making the power I wanted from the beginning and pulls incredibly hard. Now I truly realize what "smooth turbo power" really is!

Facility: EQ Tuning
Type of Dyno: Road tune
Baseline # for a stocker at the dyno: 210-220
Boost: 20psi peak
Fuel: 91 octane

Peak HP at RPM: 268.1
Peak Torque at RPM: 323.3
Mods for 04 STi:
stock vf39 IWG
generic bellmouth dp
perrin CBE
GM 3 port boost solenoid
stock fuel pump
stock injectors
NGK one step colder plugs

I know, the torque on this is insane. Ed thought I had aftermarket headers!
