Default n00b question about driveline strength for research for road racing...

So I'm thinking about competing (in 1-2 seasons) in a local class of club racing and it would be with a full blown race car, cage etc.
it'd be the ICSCC Sport Touring class (if you care). Short version of the rules are 10in wide tires max, 10:1 weight to whp (so if the car is 2600lbs you can't have more than 260whp) and if you swap motors it has to be from the same manufacturer of the chassis (ie no LSx in a Ford, but you can run an SR20 in a 240)

We're debating on a chassis right now, Fox body, 240, etc all being discussed.
We're thinking about a older GC chassis with a WRX swap. We like this idea as the chassis is light and really you don't need much boost to get 250-260whp out of the 2.0 turbo if I recall right (even on the stock turbo), should be decently reliable.

What I am worried about is the drive-line, trans/t-case/axles. What should be safe to survive 30 minute sessions with 250-280whp?

What do you guys recommend, standard WRX stuff or?
