Also very true. Would be a pain in the ass to sand all the chrome but the final results would be perfect.

Grill looks silly, but the car has tons of potential. Keep it almost a stock appearance, and make it fast. THEN it'll be a sleeper.

Yeah I regret painting the grill orange. I have the paint to color match it. But I want to do my mirrors and door handles all at the same time. Yeah the plan is to keep it mostly stock just to clean it up a bit.

It's your car, but I think the grill would look better in orange if all the chrome were muted or blackened and the car were white. Subjective, yes-just my two cents.

They sell grille mesh material at Home Depot that I bought for my grille.

^^ I was looking for something like that for mine. I couldn't find that particular one. What was it sold for at Home Depot before you re-purposed it. I think I wanted a tighter weave mesh than anything I saw there when I looked.

They should have plenty on-hand and the Home Depot website should tell you. Also you may need to find an employee that knows something about building material cuz it took me asking three different people. The first two had no idea what the hell I was even talking about. Ans the weave on this grille is pretty tight as it is. |
