Thanks Reverend. Its still a working progress, Would like to change out the rims next. Your ride is looking pretty slick. I noticed your exhaust is coming out the drivers side of the car, which is not stock or at least not on my car. Is that custom or something that was aftermarket? (if it isnt stock of course)

My exhaust was built specifically to "look stock" while still looking aggressive. It's a bit of a mix-breed. Part stock Impreza mid-pipe, part BRZ mid-pipe/muffler. Finished off with that Quad-tip look you get from the WRX and WRX STi with a double wall and then cut into the bumper and lined with clever use of Door Edge Guard.

A quick iPhone/Instagram photo:

- - - - -

I just replaced the tires with Yokohama YK580 245/45, now I just need to install my Rally Armor Mud Flaps, Visual Garage Sharkfin Antenna, and Subaru Body Molding that has been sitting in my house for the past month or so. I'm also looking to track down some '04 STi BBS Goldies and I think I'll be done with modding for a while after I retrofit my headlights, which I've been putting off as well.

But I am a bit unhappy with my BC Racing BR Series Coilovers, they are a bit too harsh for my liking. So I will track down some '08+ WRX struts and springs, and then get some lowering springs for that set-up so that I can leave my stock set-up in tack. That way if I ever have to take my car in for some warranty problems, I can just swap them out.

Tails look good. A bit too dark for me, but I think it looks good when the reverse/turns are left clear.

I taped off the white part of the tail lights and sprayed them myself.

It is aftermarket, C-Mod Grille. It is about $135 after shipping to the US from Canada.

Installed the Fog Light kit and used my stock surrounds instead of the ones that came with it. With the blacked-out grille wings, I felt like the "Sport" look was more suitable than the chrome ones that came with the kit. Speaking of that, I've got two unused surrounds with the Chrome in 'em if anyone wants to add 'em to their Impreza Sport.

I wish it came with the badge as well, but I am sure you can pick up a badge from someone on here and just attach it.

Sharco, could you post some more pictures of the grille? I am thinking of adding this to my car as well. How was the fitment/install? I've been wanting the sport mesh grill but couldn't bring myself to spend $250+ on it

The quality is meh compared to the OEM grill or is there a better option?

So far OEM is the only option in my opinion. But it is expensive.

This is true! It is not top notch quality but you do pay for what you get. I have not had any problems with it and it looks fine, so I am definitely happy with the money spent.

The mesh grill comes un-drilled, so you have to drill/screw it through where the holes would line up. I then took the black plastic tabs from the stock grill and boom install was done.

**drilling/screwing through carbon fiber is difficult, and I did have a piece chip when doing so. It is not noticeable with the grille on, so it did not peeve me that bad. I do NOT know the quality of the $250 one or if it comes pre-drilled, but it may be worth it (especially if you want the badge.)

I will post more pictures when I can
