Being from England, where gun crime is HUGE due to the fact guns are mostly banned, I always find is amazing when American's are against them. While I agree on fairly tight regulation, its scary to think whats happened since they are no longer allowed.

I wont go into detail, but I stopped my neighbors home being broken into on Friday and kept them busy enough until the cops arrived. As much as people think Austin cops hate people with guns, they loved me for it. In fact it was a cops place being broken into.

However I understand its a Subaru forum and all that.

I'm with you, and I've had to draw on people before and even pull the trigger.

But as many wiser men and women than me have noted before, you will never change someone's mind when they start believing their opinion is fact. To each their own. I might not agree with Nick, but I've respected him on his decision because it's his web site and his company.

PS: What's your take on Nikon scopes? Specifically the M/P-223? They're affordable and I think will serve the purpose I need for my AR (16"). I can get my hands on a brand new one for a great price...figured I'd see what you guys thought first.

All the reviews look great for it.

Personally, I like Nikon scopes. I have a ProStaff on my 308 and it's just as good as some that cost twice as much.

I also like that you can go to their website and print bullet drop charts based on what you'll be shooting. Excellent for making on the fly adjustments when you're out in the field or at the range.

None of the anti-gun crowd here believes any of that. I spent a lot of time in the UK and thought it was pretty silly how much violent crime there was, both with and without guns. Also I like the idea of being held up with a gun rather than a nailbat, people get cocky when someone is trying to rob them with a melee weapon, something oddly absent when on the business end of a firearm.

Tweaked my company logo for use on new upcoming details, koozies (hell yeah!), and my web site. The guns in it are mine. But highly processed in post to keep the simplicity factor.

I also picked up a KelTec Sub2000 40S&W Glock mag edition and a brand new Para Ordnance 1911 Black Ops with night sights yesterday. The Black Ops is RIDICULOUSLY nice. Five inch barrel with a frame-mounted rail and black titanium nitrate ION finish which self lubricates so it never really has to be cleaned.

If I didn't have enough .45s, I'd be keeping it for myself.

Thanks man. I'll be sure to get you some logo swag before you move off to the deep south. They like their guns as much as us. And meth. They like their meth too.

Ah... yes. Crye makes some top notch stuff. Can I have Isaac's? Yeah, I'm not super familiar with the NV names/generations (yet), but I know a sweet rig when I see one!

I hate you?

So, James, what's up with your FFL? I know you have one obviously, but we need details! Looks like you have a website coming soon based on that previous post with your logo. Is this going to be a brick & mortar location or teh interwebs only? Maybe you and mightymints should collaborate on a TXIC tactical website.

Yeah, their online support is awesome! I love how they've calculated everything for you for different rounds/grains/etc. I was looking at a P-223 Carbine length the other day and I like the clarity and FOV. I've read somethings about folks not like the stock Nikon mounts, but at least they're sold separately.
