Default Group Mod: Got a weekend free to do the parallel fuel mod? ATTN: opie

hey everyone,

just curious if there are any owners that are willing to get together to do the parallel fuel mod as listed in the modifications area. i'd just feel more comfortable if there were others around while doing the mod. i know opie has some experience with the cars, and most likely has the proper tools. its a $60 or so mod... and takes a couple hours... anyone???

Question

What is this mod you speak of? I looked all over the mods page and couldn't find any info on it.

I need to do that to my car. I'd be in....but I'm not that expeirenced. BUT I'd be willing to pay for another person "parts" for the mod. In other words I pay for all the suplies for myself and one other person if we install it on my car. I can turn a wrench, but I don't really feel comfortable takeing off my intake manifold.

In other words I'll pay $50 to have someone install it while I stand around.

But seriously If we get a couple of guys together, I can bring some refreshments. Or someway to make up for my lack of "know-how" I can't bring beer though. I'm not old enough!

If we can find an experienced individual who would be down to help, I would be very interested in checking this out and helping where I can. I have no problems with the install mechanics, but would definitely hesitate to start snipping someone else's fuel lines! If you're going to do this soon, maybe we could make it a mini install day, as my JICs should be coming in within the next 10 business days.

i'm in the same boat... don't know too much, but i'm willing to learn... i just figured that we'd probably be better off working together on the same project... when would be best for everyone to do this mod?

Depends on where everyone wants to do this. I would be down, but dread the thought of riding all the way to Orlando on my f'ed up set of coil-overs. Any chance of this being done in the Bay Area? I'm surprised Opie hasn't jumped back into this thread yet. Where are ya Will? We'd like to use your garage!

alright...

i don't want to drive too far... because first off, the engine would be too hot to work on... so i was thinking maybe some in the tampa area would like to get together... or i could just take off the cover myself and meet up with everyone!

so who in tampa?
