Default KandyRoush's 99 RSTi Build

Well here is my ground up build.... Bought the car a year ago. Had 190k on her, some rust, and a slipping clutch. Time to overhaul.

Here is what she looked like when I brought her home.

So I bought an 04 sti that hit a tree and stripped the interior, drivetrain, suspension. The engine was trashed from the impact so built motor here we go.

It started out with a lot of rust. Looks like you've got that all taken care of. It now looks amazing. Great build!

This thread is so full of win it's ridiculous!! The fact that you knocked all that out on your own is awesome. That, and the fact that I am jealous of your garage you have. PLENTY of room to be able to work on projects like this!! :-)

Can't wait to see her with the front lip and lowered just a little bit. No need to have it slammed (especially by the look of where you live, wouldn't be to good for the needed ground clearance).

This guy with some serious Cams in it, maybe something like the Tomioka Twinscroll kit in it... and the L'aunsport WRC tribute exhaust would be WICKED!!

Peace-

Nice build. I've driven by your place a few times. What happened to the red GC8?
