This is a cable that came with my DW300. I'm thinking that I can easily change these wires to 10ga wires and reuse the plug connections so I do not need to do any soldering or splicing inside the pump housing. Where can I get these connectors for the wires? Are these typical connections you find at an automotive store?

The terminals on the wires look like standard female spade connectors. You'll find them almost anywhere in almost any connector kit.

Alright I hope so. I'll bring them with me in hopes of finding them. Now I am thinking leaving this portion of the circuit the OEM wire might not be as bad as people say. We are increasing 15' or so feet of wire to 10 ga and only about 3" being OEM gage whatever that is. Hmmmm

It is a NOS intercooler sprayer bar. I am using all of the equipment from the meth kit up to the fast acting valve. Then there is one AN line to the spray bar. I may go and tap the other end so that it fills from both ends but it is probably enough the way it is.

Edit, coolest water sprayer ever.

No point in selling the system if E85 turns out to be a bigger pain than it is worth. I can easily go back to meth injection if I want.

I am having issues with AFR Learning up in the 13's on my accessport. On full boost I'm only getting 16 psi and at WOT I'm only getting 12.7 AFR. I check everything from the CAI to the intake manifold. That was until this morning.

I looked closer at the intake manifold itself and discovered this metal (brass?) barb that looks to be exposed to atmosphere. It clearly is sucking in air when I put my finger on it. And you can clearly see that a hose used to be located at this point from the dirty areas surrounding a clean metal ring around the barb.

If I am right, where does the other end of this hose go that should be connected here? I cant seem to find any loose hoses laying around. The dealership may have forgotten to install this hose all together. Or can I just cap this off?

Assistance is greatly appreciated!!!!

Yeah pretty funny how they don't put barbs at the end of the nipples so hoses can be secured.

Deatschwerks hard wire kit is done! For anyone looking to do this, make sure to check the fuses first if things don't fire up after the first time turning the car on! I'd like to thank Themaus and WRX02ftw, TJ and Gerry for their help.

The instructions from Deatschwerks were miss leading. Only one wire, the 12V positive needs to be cut and two splices need to be made. On my car the wire was a green one with a yellow stripe on it. The rest is ground to the car and the direct connection to the battery. The Instructions say to splice the ground on the fuel pump harness. Don't need to do that. Plus the unit came with a five lead relay which I had to pull the center 87A lead out since it is not used. This confused me for a bit until I called Deatschwerks.

We spliced into the wires between the fuel tank cover in the back seat and the plug that connects to the rest of the car. This means no splice under the cover to the gas tank. The main goal in my mind is to take the power off sharing with other systems in the car that make the power fluctuate. The gauge of wire should not be an issue since the smaller gauge is relatively short compared to the upgraded 12 gauge wire that is coming from the battery.

Now we will do a few cruise logs to finish up the limp 93 map. Hopefully we will be done today and then switch to E85 for the real tune

No pictures since it was about 1 am when we finished. It was 2 am when we went to Walmart to find replacement 30amp fuse lol.

Themaus is trying to convince me to buy it. Seems like from various forums that the Lake Worth plaza has E70 right now. Sucks. But still better than 97 which was what I was getting w meth.

I take it WalMart had the fuses then? That's good. It was nice to work on your car finally.

Haha nice job. I just fill up at the same place and they are pretty consistent. It's a nice safety investment

Yes it was nice having you. Your electrical expertise came in handy. I'm sure everyone in our group will eventually have a hand in helping me build it.

Yeah I will only have one place to fill up. But I pass it five times a week so I shouldn't have fueling issues unless I go out of town with it and that is rare since the wife's car is the family vacation vehicle.
