Indy area first Solo II event of the year!
It is that time again:
February 23 Walesboro Airport(just south of Columbus, IN) Course opens for walking @ 8am Tech and registration 9-10a Guided course walk 9:45a Drivers meeting 10:15a First Car 10:30a Cost: $15 members $20 non members You need to bring appropriate clothing. At some point you will have to work the course and it can get cold. Drivers License Snell approved helmet. There are some in the area that feel that the course is rough and causes undo wear on tires. I have not had that problem. I have had a good time each and every time I have gone to Columbus for an event! For mor info check Here Chris C.

I will go, only if it snows. Why don't we get a caravan going?

Revision,
It is a Columbus, IN fun event. They do it every year evidently. I went last year it was windy and 45 degrees. I think they do it just so they can go out and drive. If I remember rightly. everyone was pretty loose. Seth, I am still trying to figure out who from my household is going. That will determine when I leave. I am all up for a caravan. There is a McDonalds on Southport Rd. about a 1/4mi west of 65. That is where we met up last year. |

Someone want to buy a house?
I'll be there Sunday if my house sells. My wife will be happy and I won't have to clean all day.
If it doesn't sell I'll be cleaning all day. Chris |

Chris, I was thinking meeting up before we get to 465, since we live so close. You have to come by my house anyways.

Seth,
I plan on leaving around 7am if there is going to be anyone else meeting at the McDonalds. I will probably go that early so I can get something to eat anyway. It could be a long day without much food down there. I know it might be early but I like to socialize a little and walk the course a few times. I think Pat is going to drive the Mazda down with his girlfriend so he is not in the mix...so to speak. I was just going to get on Meridian, go downtown and jump on 65. if you can think of a place let me know. If we leave the McDonalds around 8 we will be fine on time. Jake, What about you? |

Snow would be the best reason to go. Don't you want to go show a Z06 how to drive in the snow. |

I'll bet they cancel it.
You won't have enough people to work the track and there will be about 4+ inches of snow on the ground by sunrise. If there were school tomorrow, it would be canceled too. I just drove downtown and it is very slick out. |

haha...I buried my car in someones yard tonite. It was so bad that the left side tires were completely off of the ground. The curb alond with the snow bank I found were just to much. Oh well... a friendly guy in a big 4x4 happened to have a tow strap to help me out with. Left a nice imprint of the underbody for my camera.
OK...I'm all drunk now so I can go watch Death to Smoochy. |
