Q300 drones like crazy and has poor ground clearance. The ground clearance on this one isn't too much better but it definitely has a lot less drone.

Yes. I used them on 16" steelies the last two winters. Now I have 17" ones on the stock wheels.

my q300 doesnt drone at all. maybe its just the hatch guys who experience drone with the invidia

and xluben, lemme know if this is worthy of the 50-100 thread. i clocked it in at 7 flat. i think i can get it into the 6's with no passenger or luggage in the car

Yes. It is just the hatch. The sedan is quote reasonable.

Please post in the 50-100 thread! The more the better! Looks good!

If you think the SPT drones you'll hate the Q300.

I think LC is at 4,500 or 4,700rpms. You should be able to see it in one of my recent videos.

how do you like them? i was looking into tires for winter for the brz, are these too soft at highway speeds? these are stupid cheap right now

in my experience, EVERY catback drones to a degree. hell the stock sti catback drones. nothing beats the magnaflow for the sedan. i mean nothing. not even the N1 race

i guess hatch and sedan are different because i loved my q300 for the sedan.

How much are they now? They were super cheap when I got my 16's but then the price went up last year. I got these 17's used. They're awesome on the snow but not great for higher speeds or handling in the dry. Definitely not a performance tire.

Sedan and hatch are totally different. Sedan stock exhaust is loud and drones a little. The hatch stock exhaust is super quiet. And the Q300's are opposite. Sedan is quiet and hatch is loud.

Does it mate up with any down pipe? I like how the resonators look. Mean as fudge.

I just installed this system onto my car last night. Here are some photos and video. I will have more info up soon here:

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2427954

And here's a quick video:

Video Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2n_ofsV3dg

You can see that nearly all of the exhaust flows out of the passenger side at idle. But under load, exhaust does flow out of both sides (but probably not quite equally). The exhaust uses dual Helmholtz resonators and they really do seem to work. The exhaust is very quiet at idle and low RPM's but has a good tone at WOT. I will have more info up later.
It sounds really good in the video. The Y into the two mufflers seems like its wasting the benefit of two mufflers/resonators though. Is it a lot less drone prone than the SPT and Greddy you had before?

The Y isn't an even split but there is definitely exhaust flowing out of both sides when you get on it. This setup has the least drone of any that I've had except stock. It has very similar drone to stock (basically none).

It isn't even a little bit blue. It's just straight up purple.

Actually it looks different in different light lol. Some times it looks blue, purple, or at night ... black with a hint of blue. It looks gorgeous when clean and in person.

I think Subaru makes like 500 of em a year since 2010?
