Default tein s-tech wagon springs on sedan?

i'm planning some careful mods for my future WRX, as i'm on a quest to keep it fairly stock and not as un-drivable as i've made my RS.

anyway, i'm looking at a fairly basic spring to use with the stock struts. i'm leaning towards the prodrives, but i'm a little curious about the tein s-techs... from gruppe-s.com:

Tein S.Tech Springs

Height Specifications

02+ WRX Sedan: (Front: -2.0 in; Rear: -0.7 in)
02+ WRX Wagon: (Front: -1.6 in; Rear: -1.0 in)

Spring rates:

02+ WRX Sedan: (Front: 218 lbs/in; Rear: 157 lbs/in)
02+ WRX Wagon: (Front: 241 lbs/in; Rear: 162 lbs/in)

personally, i think the wagon springs are a better choice - the sedan springs appear to lower the car a bit too much in the front and give it that 'ass in the air' look, a bit like the prodrives.

would there be any disadvantage of running the wagon springs on the sedan? they're very modestly priced at $145.

They're a lot stiffer. I'm actually looking to buy springs and the sedan S Techs are one of my choices. I'm just trying to find the stock WRX spring rates so I can compare stock with H&R, Eibach, STi, and Tien, to help me decide what kid of ride I'll have.

These springs work fine with the stock struts right?

they should, although the front springs are a more than a bit stiffer than stock (on the wagon springs, at least).

Thanks slater. I was thinking the same thing.

Anyone have this setup that would know for sure?
