Yeeeah i know. I have been trying to find a lip that doesn't require the splitters. Online this lip looked like it would sit more flush than it actually does. I mean personally i'm fine with the gap, but maybe i will try and fill it in some how or get some splitters. But for now it'll do.

I happen to have a set of OBP splitters, if you are interested.

^^^^nothing like having neighbors complain about the amazing sound of a boxer engine you have 7-10 days before you can get fined. I'd wait 9 days, make sure your extra loud in the morning just to piss them off more, then on the tenth day either put a different exhaust on. Or just tell your HOA they need to wear earplugs when they sleep.

I have had this before at an apartment complex but not a home.

WOW! The Article III part is so vague they can apply it to anything they don't like. It's like probable cause for a cop. Sorry to hear that. Push your car out of your neighborhood. From what I've seen of NOA's your kinda screwed. You can fight it, but ultimately is it worth it? Do you have an idea of who is bitching?

Do you own or rent?

I own and I have no clue who is bitching. But apparently a bunch of pussies live in ny neighborhood and can't just approach me. Another hit 4 houses down has a subie that'd just as loud as mine. I'm going to fight it tooth and nail as a matter of fact.

Good for you. Talk to the other guy with the subie and see if he got to the same hate mail. What if you had a motorcycle? Would they be able to tell you not to ride it?

That's ****ed. Let's just have a huge BBQ at your house and everyone put launch control on to see what they think after that

Just say your exhaust system is fine, and thats how loud the car is from the factory, and ask them to provide and prove a decible level for "noxious".

That's the plan if they give me trouble over it ill force them to Fo decible test on the car and just put the exhaust dilencer on. My car isn't any louder than a Harley so Ill probably use that argument as well

Tell the hoa to suck a fat one. Your car probably isn't that loud. If I ride a harley or hell even a new kawasaki cruiser down your street it is probably louder than your car.

Drove it for the first time in over a week. I like having a work truck! But it sure is good to drive it every so often.
