Srt-4 running mid 15's, svt lightning running high 14's.
And i guy with vf 24, upgraded fuel system, mrt frount mounted and a untec running a 13.7@ 101. something just doesnt seem right in so many ways. this was at pittsburg raceway 80 degrees and high humidity. please help me im going crazy over my ****ty times.

.2 faster on the launch will result in about .4 in the 1/4 mile. your car should be much faster though. i ran 14.3 @ 91 mph bone stock 2000 miles on the car.

Theres a guy local to me that has a stage 5 car (stage 4 + fmic). Runs 14.5-14.8@97 mph consistantly.

Go figure.

scary **** cuz i raced this dsm that had a slip in his car that said 13.1 @99 and i was only like half a car behind him when we raced from a dig, so who knows, maybe it was the weather?? i dunno but its depressing that im not in 13's with stage 2.

For being your first time running that is not bad. Work on launching, WRX's make all their times in the first 1/8 mile. Also where were you shifting at. I ran a 13.6 with a turboback and MBC set at 15.0.

I would have to blame those times on the driver.

Stealth-wrx, on both my WRX and STi I found its much closer to .1 to .1 on the 60ft to 1/4 mile et. But still dropping the 60ft .2 would drop the ET by .2 which is still a hell of alot.

im shifting at redline all gears, and i do need to go into 4th like 200 feet before the end of the 1/4 mile. last night i raced my friend in his dsm, he ran a 13.6 and i put a car lenght on him to 80mph. alot of ppl think that i was letting off before the 1/4 mile ended, i dunno im going back on friday. and when i go back with stage 4 plus tmic and launch control ill be looking for mid to low 12's

Who do you blame the mph on? He runs 97mph dead on almost every pass.

3rd gears goes up to about 97 I think. So you should be able to hold it in 3rd the whole time.

C'mon V6, a stock WRX can pull better times than that. If he's running that with a stage 5, consistently, he's got to be doing something wrong.

I ran 12.8 @ 107 with stage 4 vf-34 + fmic. I figured the same as you, I'd use launch control at the track and shave off a few .10'ths. All I ended up shaving off was my 2nd gear, on my first run. Be CAREFUL using launch control at the track with a stock tranny. On the street is one thing, but you get sticky track conditions and you're guaranteed to be getting a flatbed home.

I blame the mph on his tuner. He's running roughly 10 mph slower than he should be.

Here's my ticket, no scanner so I'll type it.

R/T .748
60' 1.823
330 5.372
1/8 8.213
MPH 85.93

1/4 12.857
MPH 107.23

If you have a stock tranny I highly suggest leaving the launch control on the street where the wheels spin.
